Vancouver Whitecaps' road trip rolled into Colorado this weekend, fighting to a 2-2 draw with the Rapids. A tad disappointing or a hard point well earned? We look at that, the highs and lows of the match, and which players stood out for all the right and the wrong reasons. With New England next up, we also look ahead at what might be in store for the 'Caps against the Revolution. With the transfer window set to close in a few days we chat to a player who could be joining the Whitecaps, Canadian international Adam Straith. The Residency alumni is here training with the 'Caps as a free agent, and we also chat with another former Residency player who was back in Vancouver this past week, current Rio Grande Toros keeper Marco Carducci. All this and a World Cup anthem that wasn't to be in this week's Wavelength section, plus Stewart Kerr talks fish and chips, and does Jordan Harvey fancy a chocolate digestive? There's some stupid money being thrown around, and the two Mikes can't even get a cut. PSG is prepared to pay a massive amount of money for Neymar, which certainly presents the question of whether he's worth it. Furthermore, would anything short of a Champions League title constitute a failure if the French giants get their man? As a chaser, the guys take a quick look at what's left for England's best teams to accomplish in the final month of the transfer window.Learn more about your ad choic...

It's a busy weekend of football, with Vancouver Whitecaps MLS, USL, and Residency teams all in action in crucial matches. After a long stint at home, the 'Caps first team are back on their travels, heading to expansion side Minnesota United for the very first time. It's rivalry week, so I guess we can call this one the Røvde Derby, as adding a bit of spice to the tie is United's goalkeeper coach Marius Røvde, who left Vancouver after five and a half years to head to Minny. We chat with Marius [at 05:16] about his time in Vancouver, what prompted the move, Minnesota's start to the season, their danger men, and ask, does he know all of David Ousted's weaknesses?! The MLS guys may be on the road, but the USL team is at home, taking on OKC Energy on Saturday afternoon. And they'll have a new face in the line-up, New Zealand striker Myer Bevan. We catch up with Myer [25:59] to chat about what brought him to Vancouver, his time in the Nike Academy in England, and his recent experience at the FIFA U20 World Cup in Korea.
