Silly Season (transfer season) is a fickle bitch. Tottenham supporters have been teased all Summer long and we're sick of it. Let's just sign Lo Celso, Dybala, and Sessegnon. That's not to much to ask? It's almost over though. The Premier League is back, baby. We get hyped. We talk about teams all up and down the table. Then we take an entertaining trip down a Zlatan rabbit hole. We nickname him 'The Mercenary' and talk all about how amazing he is. And part of his amazingness is his craziness. That dude cray.

Saints fans rejoice! We take a deep dive into Southampton FC Matt Neuhausen, who is a contributor on @talkSAINTS. So many fun details about the squad, some history, players to watch for and the whole bit. And it wouldn't be a Rooster and the Devil interview without weirdly discussing the USL. Specifically, Matt's internship and love of the Tampa Bay Rowdies.

We were originally slated for this episode to have a Southampton touch but alas, we lost some precious audio. Oh well. We'll have him back on soon. But have no fear! Our old friend Chris saved the day to come on and talk about his beloved Wolverhampton Wanderers. We jump into their Europa League qualifying home and away series (starts on Thursday 7/25!) coming up against the Crusaders of Northern Ireland. Then we talk about the Wolves offseason and look ahead. The end of the episode closes with Brad and Mike (Roosters) talking Tottenham and hyping up our future Southampton episode. Fun stuff.

This episode starts with just one Rooster and the Devil diving into their excitement for both Tottenham and Man United in the upcoming season. They also take a stab at some Wolverhampton Wanderers hope and dreams and get aroused about the fact that we are so close to the Prem coming back. But then the episode takes a dark turn as Jimmy, the Devil, interviews a true satanic worshipper (aka an Arsenal fan). They talk about the despair of being an Arsenal fan during this transfer window, the problems with Ownership, and the current roster before giving way to a few rays of light. Including Unai Emery's second season at the helm and a couple of young talents.

Seriously, if you love learning about the US Men's National Team and its player pool, make sure you subscribe to the One Goal newsletter: https://www.onegoal.us/ Felix and Rohan from OneGoal give us an honest opinion of the US's Gold Cup campaign. We then get hoodwinked by a secret Arsenal fan (Rohan) and he gives us his opinions on a bunch of Arse topics. We finish out the episode by getting hot and bothered over Tottenham's signings and Jimmy leaves us cliffhung (not a word) with the Wan-Bissaka signing for Man United. Although every single Rooster and the Devil episode ends with a mostly original song, I'm particularly happy with this one about Tottenham and the Premier League coming back soon. Hugs and Kisses XOXO

Our guy @nicodegallo runs us through his live viewing experience of the USA vs. Curaçao. Then we talk about Michael Bradley and his terribleness. Finally, he does his best to explain away the riches of Man City and tells what they need to be ridiculously good again next year. Rooster and the Devil Summer marches on.

The boys are back in town and in love with themselves for this episode on the USMNT, Transfer Window, USWNT and the World Cup, and the chaos that is US Soccer.

Felix from OneGoal.US brings his experience to Rooster and the Devil. He is a US Soccer encyclopedia and the newsletter they put out each week is an amazing recap of what US players are up to around the world. Jimmy dives into the US U-20 World Cup, Gold Cup Roster (bright spots and the rest of the crew), and he gives us hope for the future under Gregg Berhalter if he ever becomes flexible with his system. The end of the episode is a quick live update from Mike and Brad.

Fascinating insight into an internship with NPSL squad Greenville FC. We also take a deep dive into #USMNT & soccer development in the US. And fun thoughts about #USL, which has us more and more intrigued.

The Summer is finally here for Tottenham. 'Twas a sad ending but there is much to be happy about. We talk about the game that never let us in it. Then we give a few reasons to be thankful for soccer this Summer (League of Nations, Gold Cup, USWMNT, U20 World Cup). And then we go down the Bonsai rabbithole to discuss Brad's interesting hobby. It's Summer here on Rooster and the Devil. Let's get weird.

John Shields (@19NCAA) hangs out with Rooster and the Devil to talk about college soccer in the USA. Specifically we go into the talent level in D-1 soccer, development issues, players to watch (shoutout Michael DeShields of Wake Forest), and more. Then we dive into how he and group of guys have created a FIFA mod so that people can play the game as a college squad. We also look briefly at Tottenham since he's a Spurs fan and have some interesting conversation about the USL. Ya dig it?

Mike finds out that Rooster and the Devil is not good enough for DC United and the MLS as the boys wander into the Devils mind to find truths, talk briefly with Brad's Father about rugs, and then deep dive into Champions League. We also go into USMNT with the friendlies coming up. Big loads of fun.

The Devil was missing so the two Spurs fans swing their cockerals around wildly as they smack into Man City's creative accounting problems, a passionate look back at the Ajax game, Clint Dempsey and Chicharito comparisons, and try to grasp the truths that were revealed this season. As you would expect, without the Devil leading the way, the boys were wildly off topic at times. Enjoy.

The season is over. It's over. That's so sad. But! The boys will stick around for the Summer and have filled up the calendar with a bunch of experts so get excited. Jim and Brad sing our EPL swan song in this episode. They recap the season. Talk about the English Football Championship playoffs. Some major proposed changes to Champions League. Salford City. And a whole bunch of other good stuff.

Oh Lord, it's a miracle! Just when you thought the Champions League couldn't get any crazier (after the Tottenham/City game), we go and see something like this. What a comeback. Absolute scenes. That's why we grabbed a Liverpool friend to jump on talk about this season. Jimmy actually admits to liking Liverpool too. We also talk USMNT since Joel is on the national team wagon too. Fun episode. We missed Brad who was at a "The Who" concert with his daddio. But he did add a 10 minute easter egg to the end of the episode so we'll still hear what he has to say.

Brad regales us with stories about his quick trip to London to see Spurs vs. West Ham last weekend. Then we dive into last week's games. We also take a look at Norwich City and Sheffield United, who we'll become a lot more familiar with next year since they are being promoted to the Premier League. Then of course we talk about Champions League on our way to some tasty rants.

We present to you an in-depth interview with Jordan Gardner (@mrjordangardner), Chairman & Co-Owner of FC Helsingør (@fchelsingor). Earlier this year, Jordan and group of American investors bought a club that plays in Denmark's 1st Division, which is the second highest football league in Denmark. Part of why they bought the club is to act upon a vision to develop American youth talent while getting them acclimated to playing European football. He gives us a glimpse into the journey of why Helsingør became the right place for the club, the vision for the club's development model, and an idea of what football is like in Scandinavia. Thanks for taking the time to speak with us, Jordan. Email me at [email protected] for a transcript.

Jim slips us down his mad hatter rabbit hole to discuss the future of Man United. He also offends us with his language. Then we jump to the greatest game ever played (an opinion, of course) in the Champions League. We pop around the premier league and rant about MLS and other topics on the way to the ending. Thanks for tuning in.

The boys are missing the devil so they go balls deep into Spurs. But; we also cover the relegation fight, top 4 battle, Champions League (duh), praise Ajax, mourn(inho) Man United, and look forward to shitting ourselves today with Tottenham's Champions League matchups. We missed our devil man, though.

Such a beefy conversation with three beefy men. Champions League Day 1 Breakdown, Day 2 Lookahead, Premier League Top 6 everything, Goodbye Cardiff (?), Troy Deeney Suckfest, and let's stop the racism. For real.

The boys gear up for the new Spurs Stadium debut. Then lament about our places in the EPL, and hope for the best in Champions League. We dive into relegation. And then we talk with Travis Grimes (@who_dey_tgrimes) about MLS, Spurs, USMNT, and a fun little story about Gareth Bale (among other things). It's a long one. Travis' interview isn't until approximately 52 minutes in.

The boys lose Mike-o to sickness but carried on as a fearsome two-some. They talk about #USMNT, Tim Ream Watch, and take a deep dive to show their respects to "The Galloping Horse", Gareth Bale. Also, Brad becomes audibly erect during the Tottenham stadium discussion. Jump on it.

The boys chat briefly about the English Premier League and Champions League for the first 22 minutes but get into a meaty discussion (22:28) with the young, bright, soccer aficionado Sammy Friedrich (D-1 soccer at Wofford) about the #USMNT, the outlook of US Soccer moving forward, and a bunch of random and fun stuff. Cool guy with a bright future.

The boys are back together again to briefly complain about USMNT (more on that next week), bemoan a few Premier League losses, celebrate a few Champions League wins, debate a topic no one has ever debated in the history of the game (Ronaldo vs. Messi), and talk about how cool soccer bars are in the United States (shoutout SpeakEZ Lounge in Grand Rapids).

Scheduling conflicts forced the boys into an unconventional episode that split them up a little bit. First, Brad and Mike discuss Tottenham, Champions League, and some Premier League and then, Mike and Jimmy talk about Manchester United, Ajax, and a tiny bit of MLS. But the treat of the episode is an interview (@31:50) with long time Wolverhampton Wanderers fan, and co-founder of Wolves USA (@WWFCUSA), Chris Wood (@WWFCOHIO). He joins us to tell us what it's like to be a Wolves fan in America.

The boys needed three attempts to record this episode. Our first take was probably best so you are left with our scraps; of which you WILL enjoy. Or else. We still manage to cover Tottenham, ManU, Newcastle, Almiron, Arsenal, and Champions League in this abbreviated episode. Please drop us a line on Twitter if you are getting any enjoyment out of this at all.

The boys bring on good friend Bryan Helder to talk about Liverpool. Bryan is new to the game, just like Mike, and gives us a unique perspective about a different team in the Premiere League. The boys wander through Championship League match-ups desperately pine for EPL games to start again.

Things get feisty on the poddy when the boys discuss Pochettino. We also dive into Champions League and play a little word association. Dig in fellas.

Welcome to the third episode of Rooster and the Devil. We talk Weah, top six in the EPL, MLS transgressions, relegation fight, and a lot more. Thanks for following along.

What's up soccer peoples? The audio quality has vastly improved on our podcast and will continue to do so. We discuss the current week in English Premier League, the USMNT January Camp, US players abroad, and other crap. Hope you like it.

In the very first episode of Rooster and the Devil, we talk about how we fell into our love of English Premier League football even though we're from the soccer starved nation of the United States. Then we get into the problems of the United States Men's National Team, wander towards the post-Mourinho Man United, the injury depleted Spurs, and finish with some nice ranting. Is anybody listening?
