At least Joe Hart thought it was a job well done. Marcus, Luke and Vish are here for The Preview Show, sponsored by Betway! We pick through the wreckage of Spurs’ disastrous exit from the Europa League last night as Dinamo Zagreb discover a new version of the manager bounce and José Mourinho enters full self-defence mode. We’re also itching to discuss the England squad, which features a couple of new faces, a very notable absentee, and an incredibly fortunate Eric Dier. Plus, we propose a new plan for Newcastle to solve their attacking woes, Rafael Benítez flirts with Salomón Rondón, and Matt Le Tissier cheers on his man on Marcus Mount. There are some tasty fixtures for us to look ahead to on today’s episode of The Preview Show, sponsored by Betway! Our own trio of flash cockneys - Marcus, Luke and Jim - are here to wet your footballing appetites! Another edition of the North London derby rolls into view, as Eric Dier and José Mourinho continue to praise every other player and manager across all 92 clubs rather than their own. Arsenal meanwhile welcomed fans back to the Emirates last night with a comfortable, one-touch stroll down memory lane. We also delve into the historic rivalry between Chelsea and Leeds, hear some more bizarre tales of dads at football grounds and see Michael Owen’s furious streak appear before our very eyes. Join us! An action packed round of FA Cup fixtures gave us drama at Spurs, Chelsea exposing Jurgen Klopp as yet another bald fraud and a huge upset as Arsenal beat Portsmouth. Newcastle made it through too! They never do that! And on top of their win we also got to see 59 year-old Chris Waddle’s cool new hair. Away from the pitch, Pete promises to release some music aimed at kids while also making a niche request for some fanfic; we learn of Delia Smith making Daniel Farke feel at home with the personal touch; and try as best we can to figure out where the midlands is. We’re back once again, not unlike the renegade master, to discuss a frankly superb goalkeeping performance from David De Gea, wobbly yet winny Man City, some immediate big licks from Big Sam and a ruddy WORLD CUP DRAW! It’s about to get real. On top of all that jazz there are confusing sock related activities, Eric Dier bravely trying to move on and Sunderland get yet another mention that they really won’t want...
