The 2 Robbies Recap Matchweek 25 of the 2024-2025 Premier League Season. Special Guest Danny Higginbotham fills in for Robbie Mustoe.

Vicky Gomersall and The Mirror's Darren Lewis are joined by Sky Sports News' Chief Reporter Kaveh Solhekol to look back on the big sporting headlines of the week. They review Arsenal's Premier League win over Leicester City, which saw two goals from makeshift striker Mikel Merino - could he be the answer to the Gunners' injury problems up front? Plus, where does this important win leave Arsenal in the title race? We also discuss a brilliant individual display for Manchester City's Omar Marmoush against Newcastle, scoring a hattrick in a 4-0 win that harked back to City of old. Plus, we look at Everton's recent upturn in form and Chelsea's struggles against Brighton. In addition, we hear an exclusive interview with Manchester United defender Matthijs de Ligt. The Dutchman opens up about life at Old Trafford under manager Ruben Amorim and says he believes they can challenge for silverware in the future. We also bring you an in-depth chat with Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou, ahead of the two sides meeting on Sunday. But we start by looking back on the career of respected football journalist and friend of Sunday Supplement, Patrick Barclay, who passed away on Friday. Sunday Supplement is a Sky Sports podcast. The Sounders are back from preseason in Spain and ready to begin a gauntlet of a season. Co-hosts Brad Evans and Steve Zakuani begin by looking back at some preseason results, and commend Craig Waibel, Brian Schmetzer and staff for putting together a roster with depth all around the pitch. And it's a good thing given the congested upcoming schedule: scrimmage vs Louisville on the 12th, CONCACAF Champions Cup vs Antigua on February 19th (away) and February 26th (home)... not to mention MLS pla...

Jimbo’s got Pol Ballús, Seb Stafford-Bloor, Julien Laurens and Rory Smith alongside him as the Champions League Knockout Round Play-offs get underway. We start with a look at some of the big ties across Tuesday and Wednesday including the small matter of Manchester City v Real Madrid - for the fourth season in a row in Europe! Elsewhere, there’s the all-French affair between Brest and PSG, Celtic host Bayern Munich and Feyenoord v Milan just got a bit more interesting following the dismissal of Brian Priske… Domestically, in Spain the La Liga title race is the gift that keeps on giving with just two points separating Real, Atleti and Barcelona at the top of the table. That’s after Carlo Ancelotti’s side were held in a 1-1 draw by their Madrid rivals, allowing Barca to close the gap with a 4-1 victory over Sevilla. Over in Italy, it was a big Monday night in Milan as the Champions closed the gap to leaders Napoli to just one point after a 2-1 win over Fiorentina… just four nights after they’d played in Bergamot and la Viola had won 3-0 in a match that was rescheduled after the collapse of midfielder Edoardo Bove back in December. Napoli’s lead at the top stands at one point as they were held by Udinese. In France, PSG continued their imperious Ligue 1 form with a 4-1 victory over Monaco, which included a first goal for the club for a certain Khvicha Kvaratskhelia. Distant chasers Marseille and Nice both registered wins of their own to keep up their Champions League charge in what’s a very competitive chase for a top three spot. And in the Bundesliga, Bayern Munich prepared for their trip to Glasgow with a 3-0 win over Werder Bremen, stretching their lead at the top of the table to eight points. That’s because closest rivals Leverkusen let complacency creep in again as they were held to a goalless draw by Wolfsburg. Meanwhile, Dortmund have gone five home games without a win in the league - their worst run since 2006 - after their 2-1 defeat at the hands of Stuttgart. Produced by Lucy Oliva. RUNNING ORDER: • PART 1: Moments of the weekend (00.45) • PART 2: Champions League teases (06.15) • PART 3: La Liga review - Title race gets even tighter, plus is Antony actually good in Spain?! Over in Italy, the spoils were shared in the Derby della Madonnina after Stefan De Vrij bagged a 93rd minute equaliser, while league leaders Napoli conceded a last-gasp goal of their own to draw 1-1 in Rome. Plus - it’s farewell, not goodbye to James as he embarks on an important project… In Ligue 1, Ousmane Dembele just can’t stop scoring! He became the first PSG player ever to score hat-tricks in back-to-back games as they came from behind to beat Brest 5-2. So, what’s suddenly clicked for him in Paris? There was yet another twist in the title race over in Spain as Real Madrid succumbed to a 1-0 defeat at Espanyol despite having 76% possession. Atleti took full advantage to close the gap at the top to just a point after their 2-0 win over Mallorca, while Barcelona also won thanks to Robert Lewandowski’s 30th goal of the season. And in the Bundesliga Harry Kane continues to do Harry Kane things, bagging a brace in his 50th appearance in the league as Bayern survived a late scare to beat Holstein Keil 4-3. They did it without Mathys Tel who’s now on loan with Tottenham - but what kind of player are Spurs getting? Produced by Lucy Oliva.
