Atlanta United FC draw at home vs a struggling NYCFC. Yes, Atlanta was missing starters due to the International call ups, but Pineda still can’t adjust to get the necessary wins at home and his lack of ideas starts with Miguel Berry who continually gets minutes up front. Tyler Wolff get’s his goal to minutes ratio up but missed a few sitters. Regardless, Wolff gets into the right positions and gives himself a chance, go Tyler go! The home game against the Red Bulls was down right horrific and should have fans worried for the mid-table position we could see in the fall.

Atlanta United draw 3-3 vs New England at home, then travel to LAFC to get a 0-0 draw, and return home to beat DC United 3-1. We are halfway through the MLS season, and we'll talk about it all. Of course, that includes the GOAT Messi coming to MLS, set to Join Inter Miami in the summer. The stadiums will be packed, and Leo might be taking this league from 4.0 to 5.0 very quickly. Vamos!

We review the starting lineups and formations through the 2022 season and why Pineda clearly picked favorites over "talent" and basic coaching logic. We had diversity and injuries, but it was not an excuse for the team finishing at the bottom of the eastern conference table. Atlanta United 4-1 Loss to Philadelphia Union Ends Hope Even with a Win at home over DC United - Pineda must go in our opnion and he's made his bed with continual bad decisions and continual starts fo RRN. Who is driving the bus, Boca Boca? Who could even sack Gonzalo Pineda with any authority? We don't know. But we need a replacement ASAP.

Gonzalo Pineda needs to play to our roster's strength and that means a ldefensive posture that wins the ball at midfield and gets it up quickly to the MAMA talent who is designed to score. Fullbacks need to be FULL BACKS, stay home. The new MX goalkeeper and centerback will be key to the future as well, and we need Sosa to make a return. We talk about it all.

That said, we are very talented, even with a terrible injury to Miles Robinson, ending his season and hopes for the World Cup. Atlanta United needs to move away from zone defense when the other teams have a set kick.. Set pieces are a big problem that needs to be resolved. We go down to Miami and can't get it done with 66% possession and more talent on the field. Montreal yields the same result with 62% possession. Mike can't keep his computer powered up and the podcast goes a little wonky.
