Trent Alexander-Arnold: "I Owe Everything To Klopp."

On this week’s episode on the Overlap, brought to you by Sky Bet, we are joined by Liverpool and England star Trent Alexander-Arnold. We join Trent as he returns from injury in the closing stages of the 23/24 season that has already seen Liverpool win the League Cup and in contention to win the Premier League and Europa League in Jurgen Klopp’s final season. The boyhood Liverpool star reveals what the dressing room was like when Klopp announced his departure, the influence the German boss has had on his career and how much a title would mean to him, the club and city. At just 25 years-old Trent has established himself as one of the world’s best players and has won every major trophy he’s competed in and following a disappointing 22/23 season he tells how his mindset changed over the summer through the help of a psychologist. Trent also takes on Gary at darts whilst answering quick-fire questions before finally talking about his After Academy, a charity he set up to help academy footballers who didn’t make it to the professional game.
