Finals, derbies and other bragging rights

It feels like we say this almost every week, but it was another big weekend, so Musa and Ryan begin by shouting out Japan’s win in the Women’s Asian Cup final, before heading to Wembley. Pep Guardiola became the most successful manager in League Cup history, thanks to Manchester City’s 2-0 win over Arsenal on Sunday (04:57). There’s chat about Guardiola getting it right and what impact it will have on the rest of the season. Elsewhere in England, there was a huge Tyne-Wear derby (30:32), as well as Nottingham Forest winning the six-pointer at Spurs and great wins for Everton and Brighton.
