This is the one we’ve all been waiting for – an in-depth official podcast episode with star striker Erling Haaland. Haaland has been a revelation since joining the Club at the start of the 2022/23 season, a campaign like no other in City history as we won the Treble. The fab forward was a driving force in these remarkable achievements, as he smashed a host of individual records. He scored the most Premier League goals in one season with 36 and the most goals in all competitions by a player at a Premier League club with a whopping 52. He won the Premier League Golden Boot, City's first European Golden Shoe, Premier League Player of the Season, Premier League Young Player of the Season, FWA Men’s Footballer of the Year, UEFA Men’s Player of the Year, the Ballon d’Or Gerd Muller Trophy as well as finishing runner-up in the main Ballon d’Or competition. Despite missing five games so far in the Premier League across 2023/24 through injury, he still sits as No.1 in the scoring charts with 14 goals, alongside Liverpool Mo Salah. In this fascinating podcast, he chats with hosts Rob Pollard and Nedum Onuoha about his initial hopes on joining City, his impressions of the dressing room atmosphere, his thoughts on the Premier League, his debut season and the personal pressure he felt on arriving at the Etihad. He also discusses our ‘unreal’ Treble, how he thinks he can improve, his belief in Pep Guardiola, his insistence on football as a team sport, the influence of his dad Alfie, his diet and his aspirations with Norway.
