Pulisic at the 10, McKennie back in at Juve, Tessmann's transfer limbo | Serie A and Americans Abroad roundup (Soccer 8/19)

Jimmy Conrad and Charlie Davies welcome in friend of the show Marco Messina to discuss the start of the Serie A season and the Americans plying their trade (at least for now) in the Italian top-flight. What are Paulo Fonseca's plans for Christian Pulisic and Yunus Musah? Will Weston McKennie and Tim Weah be staples of Thiago Motta's starting XI? And why are Venezia intent on getting rid of Tanner Tessmann? The guys turn their attention elsewhere in Europe, praising Haji Wright's brace-scoring heroics for Coventry and discussing Gaga Slonina in the context of Mauricio Pochettino's first-choice goalkeeper. Then, Mark McKenzie's move to Ligue 1 side Toulouse and Cameron Carter-Vickers' time at Tottenham spark a convo about the USMNT's center-back pool. Will Tim Ream still be in the frame for the World Cup? And finally, it's an all-MLS affair in the Leagues Cup semifinals!
