Kris, Phil & Jez reflect on an cracking evening in Lyon as #PSG win it late! Question marks at Monaco and Nice but it's three in a row for Metz! Plus some Ref chat and a France preview. Enjoy!

Kris and Jez round up the post-season happenings, including Toulouse sacking coach Philippe Montanier, the ongoing Mbappe situation, the disciplinary committee confirming that Metz will be in Ligue 1 next season, and the upcoming European Qualifiers for France.

Kris, Jez and Phil take a look at the bottom of the table, as results at the weekend featured comebacks, long-range strikes, unexpected wins, and apparently ageless Jimmy Briand. Jez is mournful about Metz, Phil thinks far too many teams are too good to go down, and Kris has a cold. They also look forward to Matchday 4 in the various European competitions where several of the French contingent have crunch games.

Kris, Jez and Phil round up game 6 of Ligue 1 including PSG's 6-1 win against Angers, the FFW derby as Metz won 3-1 against Lorient, and a slightly strange Olimpico. There's also some transfer news, Stephane Moulin's bad optics, the sad death of Eddie van Halen, and teams scoring with their only shot on target. Enjoy the international break!

Amidst a confusing midweek round, Kris, Jez, Rich and Phil try to keep up with what's going on after PSG won 5-0 against Montpellier, Mbappe threw a strop, Nimes are playing well, and a Depay-less Lyon have had trouble. Rich sings Camavinga's praises in our new French Football Futures section, and Jez has hope for Metz.

Game 2 of Ligue 1 saw some unexpected and exciting results, as PSG lost to Rennes, Lyon hit six past Angers, Metz saw off Monaco who look in a world of trouble, and Marseille continued to underwhelm with a goalless draw at Nantes. Kris, Jez, Rich and Phil round up all the results, what are the various problems for various teams, how the situation is at Nice, and what's good to watch out for at the weekend.

Kris is joined by Phil and Jeremy to discus the big games of the weekend, mostly Marseille 2-2 Monaco, plus Malcom diving and Metz winning. They then move on to transfer movements featuring much love for Olivier Giroud, and whether Bryan Dabo is just trying to put a collection of cool shirts together.
