The Bundesliga relegation battle is heating up, with Heidenheim, Wolfsburg and St. Pauli among the teams in trouble heading into the final five rounds of fixtures.

With their 3-1 win against Union Berlin on Matchday 29, Frank Schmidt's Heidenheim side made the declaration to the rest of the league that they will not be going down without a fight.

Heidenheim earned their first Bundesliga win in 16 matches as Mathias Honsak's first-half double helped them defeat Union Berlin 3-1, reigniting their survival hopes.

Rising star Wael Mohya was on target as Borussia Mönchengladbach moved a step closer to safety with a draw against bottom side Heidenheim.
