The Reaction: Boxing Day delight

Arne Slot and Curtis Jones reflect on Liverpool’s 3-1 victory over Leicester after goals from Cody Gakpo, Jones – on his 100th Premier League appearance – and Mo Salah helped the Reds go seven points clear of Chelsea at the top of the Premier League, with a game in hand. In this episode of The Reaction, we also hear from former players John Barnes and Jason McAteer, who joined Becky Davis for LFCTV’s post-match show at Anfield.

The Reaction: Six goal thriller as Reds held by Newcastle

Liverpool fought back from 1-0 and 2-1 down, but were eventually left frustrated as Newcastle grabbed an 90th minute equaliser at St James' Park. Mo Salah was once again the Liverpool hero, creating the first for Curtis Jones, before adding two himself as Liverpool looked for a 12th victory in the opening 14 games of the Premier League season. But there was late agony as Fabian Schär slid in to rescue a point for the home side, and Liverpool's lead at the top has been cut to seven points. Coming up in this podcast we'll hear from Arne Slot and Curtis Jones and we have the thoughts of former Reds Phil Thompson, Neil Mellor and David James.
