On the second of three special and indeed unavoidable international editions of The Totally Football Show, AC Jimbo has Michael Cox, Jack Lange and Rafa Honigstein for company to gloss over two stunningly dull England games in order to discuss Gordon Strachan’s bizarre comments about genetics and Dick Advocaat’s unfortunate attempts to tempt the hand of fate. We’re also joined by George Quraishi - editor of the extremely fine Howler magazine - about USA’s 4-0 hammering of Panama, and Stefán Ágústsson tells us about the excitement in downtown Reykjavík as Iceland stand on the brink of qualification for their first ever World Cup.Also discussed: the backlash against the Messi backlash; why German club sides are having such a rough time of it in Europe this season; and Ravel Morrison makes his mark in Mexico.PARISH NOTICES:• Follow Stefán Ágústsson on twitter: @stebbisnaer• check out George Quraishi’s wonderful Howler magazine: http://www.whatahowler.com/•Totally Football Live in Birmingham is happening at the Glee club on Wednesday 8 November. Our guest this week is one third of our favourite comedy sketch troupe ‘Pappys’; it’s upper-body nudity enthusiast and massive Wolves fan, Tom Parry. The 90s were a period of medium resurgence for Wolves after a desperate period in the late 80s which saw them drop into the fourth tier of English football for the only time in their history. Spearheading that charge for Wolves was Tom Parry’s hero; Mr Steve Bull. We find out about Steve’s remarkable inclusion in the England squad for the 1990 World Cup, his inexplicable local newspaper column, and which deep-fried foodstuff Steve was seen carrying in inordinate amounts.
