Greetings, Bezlords. Another episode of ACES Radio, wherein: John gets that sweet PAM money, Bront pretends to be an independent voter, and Drabby rakes leaves. No seriously, we talk about this. The lads recap Crew vs. NYCFCSC and talk about how well everyone but Pedro played. We talk Supporter Shield nonsense, whether we'd attend MLS Cup, and Mensah getting PAID. Previews of Houston and DC, the world's fastest prediction updates, and of course we take our time with our man balls.

COG LA GALAXY DISCORD: https://discord.gg/9g8FcfU COG MERCHANDISE (SCARVES, T-SHIRTS, BUTTONS, COASTERS): http://www.cornerofthegalaxy.com/SHOP COG STUDIOS, Calif. -- Following right on the heels of the final presidential debate of 2020, CoG decided to give our own views on some of the most significant issues surrounding the LA Galaxy. What follows is our very poor version of a debate that will cover a wide range of topics and discussion points. Your hosts for the day are Josh Guesman, Eric Vieira, and Larry Morgan (Sophie couldn't make it -- she was afraid of the mute buttons). The guys will tackle some tough questions and get you answers that you may not like. Additionally, all three of our hosts will help you get ready for the LAFC game on Sunday. Josh will start by introducing our candidates and laying some of the ground rules. Then, it's a free-for-all when we invoke the name of Bruce Arena more than 3,000 times, tell lies about secret Twitter accounts, love letters to Joao Pedro, and question foreign money coming into both of speakers. Then Eric will call Larry "Sleepy Larry," and everything will really go sideways. But along the twisting and winding way, we'll tell you what we think should happen to Guillermo Barros Schelotto, Dennis te Kloese, Chris Klein, and Dan Beckerman. Plus, should the Galaxy try to keep Cristian Pavon or Chicharito? We've got a packed show that gets you up to the kick-off of another El Trafico. ANOTHER EL TRAFICO? Yeah, another one! And everyone here wants to make sure that you're voting! Seriously, go vote! Thanks for joining us on a wacky, fun night. We hope we distracted you from the World's problems for at least 60 minutes! Stay safe! Vote!

COG LA GALAXY DISCORD: https://discord.gg/9g8FcfU COG MERCHANDISE (SCARVES, T-SHIRTS, BUTTONS, COASTERS): http://www.cornerofthegalaxy.com/SHOP COG STUDIOS, Calif. -- Coming off a horrible loss to in-state rivals, the San Jose Earthquakes, the LA Galaxy are struggling to keep their heads above water in a Western Conference that they should be competitive in. On today's show, hosts Josh Guesman and Eric Vieira discuss the Galaxy's options going forward and what they saw in a non-competitive match against the 'Quakes. First, the guys will start by breaking down a new lineup, a new formation, and some new problems as Guillermo Barros Schelotto rolled out changes that didn't last long. They'll discuss Johnathan Klinsmann's first MLS start in goal and why this might be the only time a goalkeeper receives praise while still allowing four goals on the night. Plus, what was Schelotto's idea behind starting in a 4-4-2 lineup, and what caused the empty bucket scenario that the new formation thrown out in the first half? And with all the focus on the final score, they're plenty to discuss surrounding Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez's early departure from the game. Was GBS trying to make a point? And if so, who was he trying to get the point across to? There's some turmoil in the locker room, and Josh and Eric want to know if it's because the Galaxy aren't ready to follow GBS anymore. And the question comes up a lot, is this team lazy? The guys will tell you why they're not! Even if the results may tell you otherwise. Then Josh breaks out the blame pie -- something they stole from a famous radio act in LA -- to illustrated who is on the chopping block and who might stay. PLEASE DON'T SEND US YOUR BLAME PIES! Finally, the guys will discuss Robbie Keane and what he could mean as a possible replacement for GBS. Do the Galaxy get a win against Vancouver? It's a packed show, and it's just waiting to get started!
Alexi and Mosse survey the international break’s biggest games (09:30) and compare El Tri and the USMNT (22:50). Then, the guys look at the end of the Ben Olsen era and Major League Soccer’s playoff race (33:30). Also, big plans for the Premier League, transfer window winners/losers and American managers in Europe are looked at in #AskAlexi (54:29). Finally, Alexi caps the show with a tribute to the late Eddie Van Halen (1:16:30) in another remote edition of the State of the Union Podcast. Learn more about your ad choices. COG LA GALAXY DISCORD: https://discord.gg/9g8FcfU COG MERCHANDISE (SCARVES, T-SHIRTS, BUTTONS, COASTERS): http://www.cornerofthegalaxy.com/SHOP COG STUDIOS, Calif. -- The LA Galaxy didn't get to play their game against the Colorado Rapids this weekend, and it's thrown the entire Western Conference into the air. On today's show, hosts Josh Guesman and Kevin Baxter discuss the Galaxy's problems with trying to reschedule that match and why Major League Soccer might have to blow up the Rapids' season to keep everything else fair! Plus, could the playoffs be decided by a team that hasn't played four or five of their 23 games? And what if the league chooses to implement points-per-game as the way to settle this? Do the Galaxy stand a chance? The guys dive into all the different issues with the Rapids and their coronavirus outbreak and why a big decision isn't coming soon. Plus, with Jonathan dos Santos and Rolf Feltscher away on international duty, and COVID-19 taking hold of some national teams, did MLS and the FIFA take the risk of shutting down some domestic seasons by allowing friendlies and qualifiers to go on? But our big segment on this show is about Josh's stats and why he was wrong about comparing 2017 with 2020. The two seasons, it seems, are very similar when it comes to some of their stats. Josh also explains why getting the most out of your DP's means more success. And it's something the Galaxy just haven't done. Plus, the guys will get you ready for the match with the San Jose Earthquakes on Wednesday night. Can the Galaxy find the spark that gets them into a playoff position? We've got a packed show ready to start your week off right! Won't you join us?

Steve Zakuani and Brad Evans recap another Sounders victory and why this one really showed the signs of a good team. They also discuss if this is the deepest Sounders team in history, why reseeding the playoffs makes the most sense, and how they see things unfolding at LAFC this weekend.
In this episode of the Designated Player's Podcast, Adam and Andrew talk about JT Marcinkowski's recent performances and his impact on San Jose's results against the Galaxy and LAFC, as well as debate who should be the starting keeper for the USMNT. Should it continue to be Zach Steffen? Or has Matt Turner performed well enough with New England to merit playing time? Does someone else entirely deserve the number 1 shirt? We end the episode with a discussion on who the current best team...
