Manchester City drop points in a dramatic 2–2 draw with Nottingham Forest, leaving Pep Guardiola’s side seven points off the pace. João Pedro hits a hat-trick as Chelsea beat Aston Villa 4–1, with Liam Rosenior praising the Brazilian striker’s form this season. West Ham boost their survival hopes with a 1–0 win at Fulham, thanks to another crucial goal from in-form winger Crysencio Summerville. Tottenham boss Igor Tudor dismisses relegation talk ahead of Spurs’ crucial clash with Crystal Palace, while Palace manager Oliver Glasner backs Brennan Johnson to shine against his former club. Suj and James discuss all the key action from Gameweek 29's first 9 games, where bench points have been required by many FPL managers again, and it was a great night for Arsenal as they won at Brighton as Manchester City slipped up at home to Nottingham Forest, and there was a win for West Ham too which means it's very squeaky at the bottom. Chelsea were the only winners of those seeking a top 5 spot and Joao Pedro hauled big with a hat-trick and an assist in victory at an Aston Villa side that are currently struggling. All the key FPL fallout discussed with updates from midweek injuries, rotations, haulers and blankers. But with a clear message, there is much to learn before we get to Gameweek 30. Suj and James fared very differently again in FPL in GW27 as clean sheets were bust, well owned players flopped but one hauler for James in Nico O'Reilly made the difference; but there is no doubt as James even concedes, that there was big slice of luck that he even still owned him. That was the highlight of a weekend for James, which ended with another North London Derby humbling as Tottenham continue to look nervously over their shoulder at West Ham and Nottingham Forest, who both failed to score but were unlucky to do so. There's a much promised look at Rayan and comparison to other midfielders in a similiar price bracket. Bournemouth along with Brentford, Fulham and Liverpool assets are likely to be popular this week, should Arsenal players be binned despite Sunday's comfortable win, Chelsea's brilliant fixture run is over and they slipped up against Burnley, should their assets including the in-form Joao Pedro be moved on too? David joins James on the Gameweek Review for discussion on the nine games played so far, but for many, the FPL week will be defined by what Arsenal do with many scores on the low side so far. But there have been haulers, including the Chelsea pair of Cole Palmer and Joao Pedro, Manchester City's Antoine Semenyo and Liverpool's Virgil Van Diijk. Of course David and James own none of them, but James does at least have a nice tidy return from Neco O'Reilly. There's been two managerial dismissals in Thomas Frank and Sean Dyche, more rain (and pain), and there are some new fixtures turn on the horizon which may tempt managers to look at several low owned players. Joe Thomlinson meets Chelsea forward Joao Pedro, who takes us inside the first few weeks of Liam Rosenior's reign as head coach. They discuss moving to Watford from Brazil, stepping into the Premier League with Brighton and what it was like to get the call to join Chelsea. We also look ahead to Brazil's World Cup and Pedro reveals which position he thinks is his best. Look out for our interviews on Sky Sports News and on our YouTube channels.

A very enjoyable weekend of football in the Premier League that included comebacks, momentum shifts and late drama and some FPL haulers too in the likes of (substitute) Joao Pedro and the Liverpool pair of Florian Wirtz and Hugo Ekitike. Pedro and other Chelsea assets will take on greater appeal should they overturn their Carabao Cup deficit at Arsenal. The team that progresses now has a confirmed Double Gameweek in 26 and that may influence forthcoming moves with both have attractive fixtures this weekend too. But Chelsea were given a big scare against West Ham, The Blues completed one of a number of comebacks this weekend, as did Liverpool against Newcastle and Tottenham showed fight to come back from two down against Manchester City, who slipped further behind Arsenal. Whilst Manchester United let their own two goal advantage slip, but still won, with Bruno Fernandes again returning well for those who captained him, and he's likely to be even more popular this forthcoming weekend. All the games covered as usual and all the key FPL points deliberated. On Clash of the Correspondents it's West London versus East London as James welcomes Chelsea fan Gary Mantle and West Ham fan Chris Stone to discuss the latest at their clubs ahead of Saturday's meeting at Stamford Bridge. West Ham have won two in a row and though they remain 5 points from safety they are giving themselves a chance, and in the likes of Matheus Fernandes and Jarrod Bowen may even have a couple of attractive FPL assets to consider. But Chelsea will appeal to many more. With arguably the best four game stretch that any team has all season multiple Blues assets appeal including Trevor Chalobah, Enzo Fernandez and Joao Pedro.
