The LA Galaxy played a lackluster first 45 minutes that saw them gift the Columbus Crew a two-goal lead. While there was an adjustment at halftime, the Galax's offense remains their most significant issue. On today's show, hosts Josh Guesman and Eric Vieira discuss the Galaxy's loss to Columbus, the likelihood that they'll lose again in DC against DC United, and why no one but Vanney has any idea what his lineup for the Tuesday match against LAFC will be. And on Sunday, with New York City FC marching into the stadium, they'll know that everything they do until October has real-world ramifications for how they finish the season. So are they ready? Hosts Josh Guesman and Kevin Baxter detail the Galaxy's 2-2 draw with DC United and why they probably put themselves in a position to have to pick someone who was just waiting in the wings. Josh will start by going over what he saw from the press box with the Galaxy's "disjointed" play against DC United. He'll talk about the team's best strength -- counter-attacking -- and why Greg Vanney is pinning the entire success of the season on the Galaxy's weakest point, their defense. So what have the Galaxy done to make their defense better? And why are they in a position to need someone like Eriq Zavaleta? And is Zavaleta even the answer for a club that is sorely missing their second starter? Josh and Kevin will also discuss availability for Douglas Costa, Victor Vazquez, Derrick Williams, and Sega Coulibaly. They'll get you updated on the biggest successes of the preseason and who won the golden sandal. But before the night is over, they'll also give you updates on the Galaxy's TV deal, why the league is only planning on charter flights for some of the season, and much more. Plus, we've written down our predictions, so that means we're ready to be proven wrong by the success and failures of the Galaxy. Where did we get it right? And where did we get it wrong? We've got a packed show for you on a Monday night. And it just feels like real soccer is in the air! Are you ready for the opening game of the season?

We were so excited to have Alex Kao on the show. Alex has had an amazing soccer journey. He was born in Togo on Africa's West Coast and lived there until he was 9. Then he moved to France and joined the Red Star 93 academy around age 12. After that, he was recruited by Paris FC and joined their academy until it was time to make a tough decision about his career. Life led him to be recruited by a few Division 1 programs in the US and circumstance had him land in Louisburg College in North Carolina for 2 years before heading to the University of Connecticut to finish his collegiate career. From there, Alex turned pro with the Philadelphia Fury (after a stop at the DC United academy) and finally has landed back close to home with the Maryland Bobcats. Alex brings an interesting perspective to the American soccer landscape as an Academy Product of France. We chat about his personal soccer journey, his view on youth Soccer in America, what it takes to be a Professional, and more. Fun chat. Hope you enjoy it!

We talk about Luiz Araujo, how to say his name, and how he performed on his debut at Mercedez Benz on Wednsdsay night. Dave get's into the tactics of how to incorporate Luiz Araujo in the side. We have some concerns about our depth in the middle and defensive side of the ball. Our second live broadcast was not a flop, so listen and subscribe.
