Meanwhile, the panel decide what sort of game best suits the "never in doubt [wink emoji]" sentiment and assess a list of mid-range Euro 2024 performers who seem destined for a forgettable Premier League future. GARNACHO'S MOMENT OF WONDER: "Garnacho decided let me just go Kung Fu Fighting on this one. The vision. The confidence. The big air. The audacious execution. The distance. The power. James is joined by Sheffield United fan Ben 'Tommo' Thompson and Everton fan Sean Norton on Clash of the Correspondents on what already feels like a critical 6 pointer at the foot of the table with both sides pointless so far this season. How dire is the situation for both clubs? Does this already feel like a must win or must not lose situation? Plus, thoughts on the squads going forward with the transfer deadline looming tonight and whether more incomings can be expected and there's discussion on the FPL assets that will interest such as George Baldock, Cameron Archer and Jordan Pickford... On James’ fixture planner for the first 8 gameweeks the team that appears top of the difficulty ratings, is Everton. Can they take advantage and get off to a good start despite concerns that they’ll be involved near the bottom of that table again? And if so are there FPL assets to consider? The answer is almost definitely yes. Jordan Pickford, James Tarkowski and Ashley Young may all appeal defensively but the gem might be 4.0 Jorrod Branthwaite. Could he start the season? And at the top end Arnaut Danjuma and Dominic Calvert-Lewin – subject to fitness – could also be considered and as we find out on the Podcast there may even be a gem who is yet to be given a price. It might be the fourth time we’ve said this, but Arsenal’s title dreams are surely, FINALLY over. Can someone tell Jim? Pete, Jim, Vish and Andy hop aboard Jordan Pickford’s bouncy castle to react to that, Southampton and Rishi Sunak finally levelling down, and the chaos at Elland Road that definitely had Big Sam rubbing his hands but probably also biting through Patrick Bamford’s violin strings one by one. And it sounds like Mauricio Pochettino is destined for Chelsea – but Andy isn’t convinced by ‘Argentinian Alan Curbishley’… Follow us on Twitter, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube, and email us here: [email protected]. A chaotic game that benefited absolutely no one but was pure Barclays through and through. That calls for only one Reacts trio: Pete, Jim and Vish! Ben Chilwell is currently the most bought player in FPL this week? Is there any reason not to invest? Should Reece James or a cheaper option be considered a better alternative?
