Yamal assists Spain to semifinals, Ronaldo’s Euro 2024 exit, Berhalter decision time

Alexi Lalas and David Mosse broke down all the quarterfinal action today starting with the blockbuster matchup of Spain and Germany. To put Spain ahead 1-0, Lamine Yamal recorded the assist to Dani Olmo and became the first teenager to record three assists in a single Euro tournament. Mikel Merino sent the host team home with his header late in extra time. In the semifinals, Spain is set to face France who advanced past Cristiano Ronaldo and Portugal on penalties. On the Copa América side, Venezuela and Canada’s quarterfinal match came down to another penalty shootout.
