The countdown is officially on for the 2026 SHEIN Women’s Football Awards - and this year’s edition is shaping up to be the biggest yet.

And a win or a draw over FC Dallas could just put them in a position to not be the worst team in the league. On today's show, host Josh Guesman talk about his fear of scary movies, why his wife would like to see him with more hair, and how the LA Galaxy need to feed Diego Fagundez so he can close out 2025 with that 80/80 record he's been chasing. We're bringing you Niall Quinn's extended interview from our first CityStories Episode. You can watch the full feature on City+, now. We're going back to 1991 when a red card for goalkeeper Tony Coton meant striker Niall Quinn was forced to take his place. Up against Derby County who were on the brink of relegation, fan favourite Quinn had already scored an exquisite left-footed volley to give us the lead. However, Derby’s Dean Saunders was soon through on goal before Coton was deemed to have brought him down. With our No.1 given his marching orders and no substitute goalkeeper, Quinn took Coton’s shirt and gloves. The Ireland international’s first duty between the sticks was to face up to the resulting penalty. Incredibly, he saved the shot at full stretch to turn it behind for a corner. It inspired us to a victory on the day and even went some way to earning Quinn the Player of the Year award for that season! We sat with Niall to look back at this incredible moment, his time at The Club and hear his goalkeeping experience before going between the sticks for City. Learn more about your ad choices. Welcome back to Stick To Football with Gary Neville, Jamie Carragher, Jill Scott, Ian Wright and Roy Keane – the original show from the award-winning The Overlap, brought to you by Sky Bet. We kick things off with the aftermath of Tottenham’s draw at Manchester United and how Gary caused a stir by arguing Spurs could finish above Liverpool by the end of the season whilst Roy remains unconvinced with the praise on Ange Postecoglou’s side. The halfway point passed in the Premier League season, so we discuss who has been the best player as Jamie singles out Kevin de Bruyne as one of the best midfielders the competition has seen after his heroic return from injury when Manchester City overcame Newcastle. Earlier this week Ian and Jill attended the FIFA The Best Awards and discussed whether Lionel Messi deserved his award of Men’s Player of the Year. We also relive Roy’s 2000 PFA Award ceremony and whether his teammates turned up and the politics behind voting procedures. We discuss the latest on the Premier League charges on Everton and Nottingham Forest and what it will mean to both clubs and the impending hearing on Manchester City. Super 6 also returns with Ben… has Roy managed to reduce the deficit or has Gary pulled further ahead? And we end with your Community Question: Why has Erik Ten Hag not implemented a style of play at Manchester United yet? Subscribe now so you never miss an upload! And it's going to be two hours of absolute mayhem. Are you ready for Decision Day on steroids? Are you ready for multiple scenarios that get the Galaxy to the post-season? On today's show, hosts Josh Guesman and Sophie Nicolaou discuss the Galaxy's draw with Seattle, the lineup choices Greg Vanney made, and the stuttering development of a Young Designated Player that got it all wrong and could still cost the Galaxy a playoff spot. Josh and Sophie want to get at the heart of the Galaxy's woes over the last five seasons and why a big club like the Galaxy can't fill the seats. Is it only about winning? Or is it something else? Are the Galaxy missing characters? Are they missing stars? Your hosts are also updating you on Dennis te Kloese's contract and why the Galaxy picked up his option. Does that mean that te Kloese is staying for 2022? Not. So. Fast. Josh will introduce the players he thinks will make the end-of-the-year awards for the Galaxy and why one name, in particular, keeps popping up. Could we see history with the Player of the Year and Defender of the Year awards going to the same person? Finally, Josh and Sophie want to get you ready for a "must-win" game that is both a must-win and not a must-win. It isn't very clear, but we're more than prepared to explain what's about to happen. Keep your phones handy during the match. This show is over 90 minutes of Galaxy-talk that you'll need ahead of the simultaneous kick-offs on Sunday. Can the Galaxy beat a Minnesota United team that only needs a draw to get into the playoffs? This is it! The last show of the regular season. Will we be back on Monday to preview the playoffs? Or will we be starting the post-mortem of a 2021 season that went well off the rails? Let's go!

Hosts Dan Bardell and George Elek are joined by bet365's Steve Freeth, to preview Liverpool's trip to Old Trafford - could defeat really spell the end for United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer? Plus, how 'set-piece kings' West Ham have become favourites for their London derby against Spurs, whether Phil Foden could end up with both the Player AND Young Player of the Year awards at the end of the season and how Aaron Ramsdale has softened the blow of Emi Martinez' Arsenal exit. The Athletic's George Elek is joined by Bet 365's Steve Freeth to look ahead to England's world cup qualifiers against Andorra and Hungary, games which are surely the perfect opportunity for Harry Kane to build up some form and score some much-needed goals. There's also a look at how last weekend's Premier League action leaves the season poised as we head into the international break. Is Mo Salah heading for another golden boot and could he win Player of the Year for the second time? Might Brentford's excellent start have some of the top 6 hopefuls looking over their shoulder? All this plus we're joined by From The Rookery End's David Cameron Walker for a look at what Claudio Ranieri's arrival at Watford could mean for the Hornets as they prepare to embark on a daunting run of fixtures against most of the top clubs. Welcome to Episode 50 of Glory Days of Gold, the East Fife and Scottish football podcast. It's our golden anniversary episode and we have a brand new season to preview in it. Wonderful! Or is it?Just what East Fife are we going to get this season? Preseason saw a lack of any real test, when that came in the League Cup group games, things have not gone well. No wins, no points, only two goals scored, two defeats to teams in a lower league, and a goal difference of minus seven. Optimism is hard to find right now if we're being brutally honest.Lee, Michael, Doug, and Gordon look at the close season comings and goings, the extension of manager Darren Young, the disappointing League Cup performances, the lack of real difference makers in the team, and their hopes and fears for the season ahead. Is there any money to strengthen the squad? How many starters are we needing to bring in to compete? Why has Player of the Year Ryan Wallace seemingly quit the club? Are there loan deals on the horizon? Have we been left behind by the rest of the division? Are there any positives we can take right now? So many questions!!!There's lot of football chat, plus we bring you the latest single from East Fife fan, and friend of the show, PG Ciarletta.
