Part two of Sunday's mammoth two and a half hour CiTR radio show is featured in this episode of the podcast. It's Episode 74 of "There's Still Time", the AFTN Soccer Podcast, and we're in a celebratory mood. Not just because the Vancouver Whitecaps beat Sporting Kansas City to get back into the playoff places in the MLS Western Conference, but also because this podcast was recorded on the 25th birthday/anniversary of when AFTN first began as a fanzine back in Scotland on August 10th 1989. So a special day for AFTN and a special day for the Whitecaps, who got back on track and finally stopped drawing. We pick over the bones and the highs and lows of the game and hear audio from both locker rooms, both coaches and a number of the players. On the Whitecaps side we hear from head coach Carl Robinson, goalscorer Darren Mattocks and goalkeeper David Ousted. And from Kansas City, we have a good chat with their head coach Peter Vermes (one of the best coaches to chat to in MLS in our opinion), their penalty-saving goalkeeper Jon Kempin and All-Star defender Matt Besler.
