El Presidente de la CONMEBOL, Alejandro Domínguez, abrió la jornada de capacitación con un mensaje enfocado en la identidad y el crecimiento del fútbol sudamericano: "Hace algunos años, la CONMEBOL vivía del recuerdo. Hace diez años cambiamos la historia y hoy es una confederación que compite, que crece y que vuelve a estar en lo más alto. Y eso es resultado del trabajo, del compromiso y de creer en grande”. Entre los principales exponentes de la jornada se destacó la participación de Filipe Luís, quien abordó la formación de entrenadores, aportando su experiencia desde el alto rendimiento.
