United, third in the league, has won only one of its last four matches, but Michael Carrick said his team can take heart from its performance under pressure in recent games.

Under the BlueCo ownership, led by Behdad Eghbali’s Clearlake Capital and Todd Boehly, the Stamford Brige outfit have moved towards signing elite younger talent, but Cole wants that to change.
