Madd Four It | Planet FPL S. 8 Ep. 21 | GW12 Review | Fantasy Premier League

Suj and James review another dramatic weekend of Premier League football and all the important FPL discussions as several popular assets delivered the goods again with Mo Salah, Bukayo Saka, Matheus Cunha and Joao Pedro all returning well. But there will be some who struggled and the swing against for Erling Haaland owners is a tough one to take. Is it time to call it quits on FPL's highest priced player? Haaland's latest blank came in an astonishing result at The Etihad as Tottenham won 4-0, much to James' delight; and there were also comfortable victories for Arsenal and Wolves whilst Liverpool made hard work of beating Southampton and we saw Ruben Amorim's debut as Manchester United manager end in a draw at Ipswich. Plus, James has gone early on his GW13 transfer, but it means a hit could follow... Wolves v Man City | CotC with Bradley Parker & Jonny Pringle | Planet FPL 2024/25

On Clash of the Correspondents James is joined by Wolves fan Bradley Parker and Manchester City fan Jonny Pringle to discuss the latest at their clubs and the FPL assets from within ahead of Sunday's Gameweek 8 meeting at Molineux. It's one point from seven for Wolves and the, pressure is mounting on Gary O'Neil, but have they really been as bad as the results suggest? For City, much of discourse recently has surrounded Pep Guardiola's future, but whether he stays on beyond this season or not, the immediate conundrum is finding solutions to replace the irreplaceable Rodri. Plus, FPL chat includes discussion on Erling Haaland and whether one of the upcoming fixtures (Southampton follows Wolves) look good enough to deploy the Triple Captaincy Chip. And Rico Lewis v Josko Gvardiol is discussed, if FPL managers should take a punt on Phil Foden with enticing fixtures but with Kevin De Bruyne close to a return; while Wolves assets are set appeal too with a brilliant turn of fixtures on the horizon, Ryan Ait-Nouri will attract interest and so to might attackers Matheus Cunha and Jorgen Strand Larsen. Wolves with Bradley Parker | Correspondent Week ep.9 | Planet FPL 2024/25

Day 3 of Correspondent Week kicks off with Wolves fan Bradley Parker joining James to discuss everything at Molineux and despite a very tough opening set of fixtures there's positivity around Gary O'Neil's team and they may be about to move to a back four with more frequency following the sale of Max Kilman to West Ham. There's discussion on the three attacking 6.5 players who may appeal when the fixtures turn, Hwang Hee Chan, Matheus Cunha and Pedro Neto and there's an intro to three new exciting signings in Pedro Lima, Rodrigo Gomes and Jorgen Strand Larsen, Rayan Ait-Nouri at Jose Sa are nicely priced at 4.5 and need monitoring, whilst Bradley believes there may be a permanent 4.0 starter in the team. But with the fixtures looking challenging should they remain a watch and wait? Plus, ticket price increases have caused anger among the fanbase and Bradley gives his opinion on Kilman and former manager Julen Lopetegui at West Ham Follow Bradley on Twitter/x: https://twitter.com/parker_bradley Next on Correspondent Week: ep.10 Newcastle United with Simon Bibby For the full Planet FPL schedule this week, including our offering on Patreon view this post: https://www.patreon.com/posts/109354364 Want to become a member of our FPL community and support the Podcast? Wolves v Bournemouth | CotC with Bradley Parker & Neil Grover | Planet FPL 2023/24

James is joined by Wolves fan Bradley Parker and Bournemouth fan Neil Grover on Clash of the Correspondents with the two sides set to face off at Molineux as part of Double Gameweek 34 and there will be plenty of interest in FPL assets from both clubs, particularly from those on a Free Hit. But do the two teams have anything to play for? The key talismen, Matheus Cunha and Dominic Solanke are discussed and there are pros and cons covered about the week ahead for both forwards. Attacking and enabling alternatives from both clubs may well go under the radar such as Pablo Sarabia and Justin Kluivert, though per haps they shouldn't. And what can be expected from a returning Hwang Hee-Chan? Many FPL managers will be awaiting key news on Wolves OOP defender Rayan Ait-Nouri, but will he even remain as part of an attacking front 3 if fit, and is he even the best OOP left footed defender for the week ahead from these two clubs? Milos Kerkez could well end up in a more advanced position for The Cherries. Plus, conversation on Gary O'Neil and Andoni Iraola, the goalkeepers, injuries, form, fixtures and more... Cunha Believe it? | Planet FPL S. 7 Ep. 34 | GW23 Review | Fantasy Premier League

It was a weekend with lots of goals in the Premier League and that meant some big swings for FPL managers in GW23 as Richarlison and Ollie Watkins returned big and there were also big hauls for attacking enablers such as Alejandro Garnacho and Matheus Cunha, but find defensive returns was far more difficult. All the games reviewed including Tottenham's draw at Everton, Villa's thumping win at Sheffield United, Manchester United's comfortable victory against West Ham and Arsenal won the big one, and deservedly so, against Liverpool. And despite defeat Liverpool assets appeal now that we know their fixture against Luton Town has finally been announced for DGW25. But their opponents Luton also have several excellent options and were involved in a thrilling 4-4 draw at Newcastle. There are eyes on how to manipulate the upcoming blanks and doubles, thoughts on Man City assets ahead of tonight's trip to Brentford and there are a couple of Premier League managers now under big pressure... and they meet at Selhurst Park next week! (if they haven't been sacked before then!)
