On Clash of the Correspondents James is joined by Wolves fan Bradley Parker and Newcastle fan Simon Bibby to discuss the latest at their clubs ahead of Sunday's meeting at Molineux. Both have hit a recent resurgence of form when it was really needed, with both unbeaten in four in all competitions, with Newcastle winning their last three in the Premier League and Wolvescfinally managed their first league win of the season against West Ham. Cause for optimism or do respective concerns persist for both? Matheus Mane, price as a 4.5 forward in FPL is now attracting serious attention and looks good for minutes moving forward. But is he the only Wolves asset that can be considered. Bruno Guimaraes is having an outstanding season, but is there a case to now ignore him and the likes of Malick Thiaw and Anthony Gordon as Newcastle approach a difficult and packed schedule starting with tonight's Carabao Cup Semi Final 1st leg against Manchester City? On Clash of the Correspondents James is joined by Aston Villa fan Lee Jackson and Fulham fan Lewis James to discuss the latest at their clubs ahead of Sunday's GW6 meeting at Villa Park. And there's only one place to start, what is going on at Villa!? With only one goal scored, no wins, and Sunday's limp draw at ten man Sunderland the most recent result, an inquest is beginning in to what is going wrong for Villa. Meanwhile, Fulham have started well, they've won the last two at their only defeat, at Chelsea, was certainly controversial. Can Fulham add to Villa's woes on Sunday? Plus, do Villa assets need binning on mass, or should faith be kept in the likes of Morgan Rogers and Ollie Watkins for the upcoming home games against Fulham and Burnley? And there's coverage too for FPL on Fulham assets including Joachim Andersen, Josh King and Rodrigo Muniz. But might Dango Ouattara offer a better route into The Bess attack? Or should they be avoided with a tough schedule on the horizon? And what should we make of a potential return for Cole Palmer? It's a crunch Clash of the Correspondents ahead of the meeting between last season's top two at Anfield on Sunday. James is joined by Liverpool fan Dan Lord and Arsenal fan Adam Pritchard to preview the games and discuss their openings to the season where both have started with two win from two. But for Champions Liverpool it's not been convincing with four goals shipped and late winners against Bournemouth and ten man Newcastle. Is there cause for genuine concern? Arsenal didn't convince either at Old Trafford in the opener, but won convincingly against Leeds. How confident are they of winning at Anfield with Bukayo Saka injured and ,Martin Odegaard possibly out too. There's further discussion on transfers, including how Arsenbal may integrate Eberechi Eze and the ongoing Aklexander Isak saga, plus FPL chat of course on all the big names from both teams. On Clash of the Correspondents James is joined by Manchester City fan Jonny Pringle and Bournemouth fan Neil Grover to discuss an important week ahead for both clubs ahead of their Gameweek 37 meeting next Tuesday at The Etihad. For City there's the small matter of Saturday's FA Cup Final to contend with first, and by the time they face The Cherries they could be down to sixth as they bod to finish in the top 5. Bournemouth themselves need City to win the Cup and will then be hoping for slip ups from Brentford and Brighton as they aim for a first ever qualification for European football. What should FPL managers who own the likes of Josko Gvardiol, Kevin De Bruyne and Omar Marmoush do considering City don't play untol after the Cup Final? Should they be binned? And can those who gambled on a returning Erling Haaland have the confidence to captain him? And Bournemouth assets are likely to prove very popular too on final day when they host relegated Leicester. Discussion includes chat on Evanilson, Justin Kluivert, Milos Kerkez and Dean Huijsen, who seems bounds for Real Madrid following an outstanding season. On the first of two Clash of the Correspondents this week James is joined by Ipswich Town fan Paul Gaught-Allen and Arsenal fan Adam Pritchard to discuss the latest at their clubs ahead of Sunday's Double Gameweek 33 meeting at Portman Road. Arsenal assets will be popular this week for FPL managers, they are faced with arguably the most attractive fixtures in the Gameweek, but with the Champions League now clearly the priority with the Premier League title chase gone are they actually worth investing in? There's particular concern for those looking at long-term investment but also cautious warnings about the immediate Double, which those intending to go Mikel Arteta with the Assistant Manger Chip or/and Bulayo Saka with the captaincy should take particular note of. Should it be double defence or double attack for Free Hitters? There's discussion on all the important Arsenal FPL assets. Ipswich may not appeal for now, but they may well have the best final 4 fixtures, could the likes of Liam Delap appeal for late Wildcarders? And what are the prospects for 3.8 defender Ben Johnson, a scorer at Chelsea at the weekend, and playing on the right of midfield? And, there's discussion on The Gunners chances in the Champions League, what may happen to Ipswich next season and what can bridge the gap between The Championship and the Premier League. Ahead of Double Gameweek 32 James is joined by fans of the two doublers as Newcastle fan Simon Bibby and Crystal Palace fan Ruaidhri McLoughlin-Dowd guest on Clash of the Correspondents for detailed coverage on both clubs. There's coverage of key points on both teams, with deliberation on whether Alexander Isak should be Triple Captained for those still with the Chip, the fitness of Anthony Giordon, whether Harvey Barnes now offers a differential pick against the in-form Jacob Murphy and there's also coverage of Newcastle's back 4 and who would be best to pick up in FPL. There's discussion on Palace assets including coverage of the preference between Ismaila Sarr and Ebe Eze, the prospects for the popular Daniel Munoz and Jean-Phillipe Mateta, but what's the impact for The Eagles with Marc Guehi suspended for the first game at Manchester City? It's West v North London on Clash of the Correspondents this week as James is joined by Chelsea fan Gary Mantle and Tottenham Hotspur fan Ricky Saunders to discuss managers, expectations and FPL ahead of next Thursday's GW30 meeting at Stamford Bridge. Both managers are under scrutiny with Chelsea fans seemingly split at the moment on Enzo Maresca, with form inconsistent, and qualification for next season's Champions League in the balance. And is it win the Europa League or bust for Ange Postecoglu? It's beginning to feel like it might be. That makes investment in Tottenham players in FPL awkward with the Europa clearly the priority, but with many FPL managers set to Wildcard in GW31 and with Tottenham then facing Southampton and Wolves is there something that can be punted on? There's coverage of Chelsea assets too, with their next 3 looking good for the potential the attacking players, but Christopher Nkunku remains inconsistent, Nicolas Jackson has been a huge miss, and Cole Palmer hasn't scored since Jackson got injured. Is Palmer's injury and form cause for genuine concern? On Clash of the Correspondents James is joined by Brighton fan Sam Murray and Aston Villa fan Lee Jackson, with both teams still in the FA Cup, competing for a Champions League place and both could have a Double in Gameweek 33. And for Villa they have a Champions League Quarter Final which makes their FPL assets particular difficult to assess with a juicy fixture at Southampton between the games with PSG. And Brighton could well appeal then to as they host Leicester, but are they liable for rotation too. There's coverage of defensive assets from both, the likes of Yankubah Minteh, Kaoru Mitoma, Marco Asensio and Marcus Rashford, plus talismen Joao Pedro and Ollie Watkins as well as the seemingly rotation proof Morgan Rogers. On Clash of the Correspondents James is joined by Manchester United fan Gary Robinson and Southampton fan Matt Samuel to discuss the at their clubs ahead of next Thursday's Gameweek 21 meeting at Old Trafford. For United, there is some fresh following the excellent performance and draw at Anfield, which followed a run of three straight league defeats without scoring. Is there any chance that United can build on that and get themselves back into contention for a European spot? Whilst for Southampton the appointment of new manager Ivan Juric has yet to see the desired impact and Saturday's humbling 5-0 loss to Brentford has now led to concerns that they may not even top Derby's 07/08 total of 11 points. So should FPL managers be targeting the likes of Bruno Fernandes and Amad Diallo now? Is Bruno even an option to captain this week? But is he worth the money over teammate Diallo? There's also questions on Southampton assets, yes really, some people are actually interested with BGW29 in mind and there's also discussion on Marcus Rashford's future. Clayton joins James for a review of GW14 in a week where Arsenal won from corners and Tottenham lost from one, but that's not the only reason Tottenham lost, and James is in a mood this morning following the dismal showing at Bournemouth. He did at least have some reason to cheer via FPL means as Alexander Isak was held and returned well in Newcastle's thrilling draw against Liverpool, but Mo Salah dominated again with another monster haul. The Egyptian King is now up to a barely believable 151 FPL Points for the season. Clayton's gameweek meanwhile was somewhat saved by an Arsenal player and The Gunners ran out winners against a Manchester United team, who impressed with their structure, if not their threat. All the games from Wednesday to Thursday covered, including Chelsea's demolition of Southampton, Aston Villa and Manchester City getting back to winning ways; whilst there's debate on FPL transfers as James seeks a new defender, there's a solution offered for Bryan Mbeumo owners, if those who have prersisted with Erling Haaland have to call it quits and is there enough reason to take Salah on with the captaincy this week? ...Tottenham might have offered one... but not for the right reasons. Suj and James review all the Gameweek 13 games as the pain continued for many who are still on Erling Haaland as the FPL midfield trio of Mohamed Salah, Bukayo Saka and Cole Palmer scored 45 points between them. Can Haaland owners really sell now? Or does it feel like they've got to? City were beaten again at Liverpool and comfortably so, whilst Arsenal and Chelsea both won comfortably, as did Ruben Amorim's Manchester United who go to The Emirates next. All the key FPL topics covered including whether it's time to dump Bryan Mbeumo, whether West Ham can be invested in, if Alexander Isak owners will move on to Nicolas Jackson, enablers in defence and midfield are covered and there's debate about captaincy for GW14 with Palmer likely to be favoured by many against a depleted Southampton, but could he be rested!? And Suj has gone early with two moves ahead of Gameweek 14, and it may be the same two template players that James targets, with one of them a certainty for purchase. On Clash of the Correspondents James is joined by Newcastle fan Simon Bibby and West Ham fan Chris Stone to discuss the latest at their clubs and the FPL assets within them ahead of Monday's meeting at St James's Park. Will either Correspondent give James reason not to buy Alexander Isak? And he's not the only Newcastle asset under consideration, with Lewis Hall likely to be popular for those in search of an enabling defender and there's a warning not to forget about Anthony Gordon and Joelinton's positioning could soon make him an interesting prospect. Jarrod Bowen for Bryan Mbeumo in GW14 is a move James earmarked in pre-season, but is there any faith in The Hammers who sit in 14th currently and with the pressure mounting on Julen Lopetegui. Mohammed Kudus also return in GW14, there's discussion too on what's happening with Lucas Paqueta and will 4.0 keeper Lukasz Fabianski retain his place in goal for the weeks ahead? On James' live stream today there's further discussion on the 7.5-9.0 forwards and those below, the danger of having 'the ideal' midfield four, best enabling defenders for consideration, James' desire to own Salah but why thoughts of Isak may hold him back, upcoming captaincies including whether Solanke is the only for this weekend, how away fans get treated in Europe causes annoyance, the pressure is on Lopetegui and O'Neil and James also outlines why he would give no consideration to using the Free Hit Chip any time soon. Suj and James have a look at five FPL forwards that James has been repeatedly warning recently that FPL managers shouldn't cut themselves off of, because although there are several good options below 7.5 (and one very good one above 9.0!) these five players may well show greater consistency and have more explosiveness. The 5 players in question (WishJ) are Ollie Watkins, Alexander Isak, Dominic Solanke, Kai Havertz and Nicolas Jackson. There's analysis of their statistics so far this season and a look at the fixtures ahead, with consideration to who their threats from within, their capability to be Fantasy talisman and much more. Suj and James have an open discussion about the 6 highest priced midfielders in FPL; Mo Salah, Cole Palmer, Bukayo Saka, Kevin De Bruyne and Phil Foden with the aim of ascertaining which of them is desired most in the immediate upcoming fixtures and then in the longer-term from the fixture swing in Gameweek 12. There's a look at the data so far this season, the fixtures, the explosive capabilities of the players and how many is the right number to have, the danger of having only one and cutting yourself off of others and how having as many as three can allow you flexibility to move budget around. But having only two, and certainly three, would make it very difficult to hold Erling Haaland moving forward. On Clash of the Correspondents James is joined by Fulham fan Lewis James and Aston Villa Lee Jackson to discuss the latest at their clubs and their interesting FPL assets ahead of the GW8 meeting at Craven Cottage. Fulham have started really well, beaten only twice in Manchester and they have a great group of upcoming fixtures, whilst Villa have also started well, though it perhaps should also be expected with who they've played so far and fixtures are now looking tougher and have we already seen signs of the Champions League proving a distraction? Both Antonee Robinson and Emile Smith-Rowe have been popular for FPL managers so far, should Fantasy managers stick with them or look elsewhere with Fulham having only kept one clean sheet and with Smith-Rowe benched at the weekend? James has a big Erling Haaland dilemma, and the only way to get him him would include selling Ollie Watkins; does Lee think he should do it? Plus, there's a follow up on conversation during the last International break on concerns over Villa defensively, Raul Jimenez has hit form making him worth considering, and is Morgan Rogers likely to stay the community's darling as enabling midfield choice, particularly when many at a similar price are outperforming him on some of the underlying numbers, and that includes several Fulham players! James is joined by Aston Villa fan Lee Jackson and Everton fan Sean Norton to discuss their clubs and FPL assets of interest ahead of the Gameweek 4 meeting between the two clubs at Villa Park. Ollie Watkins has underwhelmed so far this season, now yellow flagged and key provider Leon Bailey is injured... so why is James considering captaining the Villa talisman in Gameweek 4? Facing a pointless Everton who are struggling without defensive lynchpin Jarrad Branthwaite is a good place to start; but is it really all that bad for The Toffees, who cone into a brilliant fixture run after the trip to Villa, and there is one Evertonian Sean intends to go for on Wildcard! And Villa's good run of fixtures has already begun, with Morgan Rogers proving popular despite zero returns so far and there will be interest in their defensive assets too, but there's a warning to avoid.
