The club have been quiet in the transfer window so far. Could a reason behind this be that all of Trent Alexander-Arnold, Virgil Van Dijk and Mo Salah are entering the final year of their contracts. Can the club afford to take a risk of losing these players for free next summer if agreements on new deals aren't reached soon? Salah v Haaland is discussed in detail, there's discussion on the likely positioning of FPL's GOAT and also incomparision to other Liverpool attackers. Clayton joins James for the Gameweek 33 review as there were big swings in the battle to finish first and fourth respectively after Liverpool and Arsenal both lost at home, with The Gunners beaten by Champions League chasing Aston Villa who are now favourites for fourth after Tottenham were dismantled at Newcastle. It was a difficult weekend for many FPL managers but those with Newcastle assets may have done particularly well and Erling Haaland returned well for captainers despite some fortune (or misfortune!) in his returns. It always seemed likely to be a tough weekend for Fantasy managers with many faced with conflicting issues and that has proved to be the case for many, including Suj and James, who reflect on their underwhelming weekends during the Gamewwek 13 Review.
