We’re underway in Spain and Germany, with Italy soon to follow. Jimbo, James Horncastle, Raphael Honigstein, Julien Laurens and Alvaro Romeo have your back on all things continental. Dortmund come flying out the blocks in the Bundesliga with Erling Haaland stealing the show on matchweek 1. Is he the new R9? Pique is the hero on and off the pitch for Barcelona as Memphis channels Ronaldinho in La Liga. Looking ahead to the start of the Serie A season, will there be a big 7? And can Mourinho rediscover his mojo? In France, Messi is unveiled and Galtier hammers the champions on his return to Lille. But who got a 1/10 in L’Equipe? What’s Wrong with Everton and Final UCL Places

Seb and JJ are holding the fort again; under discussion: the final games of the season across Europe. Why are Everton so thoroughly quite good?! Lille are crowned French champions, Atleti seal victory in La Liga, and Callum Davidson is everyone's hero as St Johnstone win the cup... twice! The last UCL places are decided in England and Italy with Leicester suffering disappointment again and, much to Seb's dismay, Juventus scraping home without Cristiano Ronaldo. Hosted on Acast. The following days have seen Cala issue a strong denial that he used the language he was accused of using, and in turn Valencia have continued to come out strongly in support of Diakhaby. In this interview Anil Murthy explains his thoughts on how the incident was dealt with at the time, how he thinks La Liga and Spanish football should deal with any future incidents of this nature, and he expresses his disappointment with the lack of progress being made on racism in football.
