Three days before the 2022 NWSL Regular Season, the Houston Dash released a statement saying head coach and general manager James Clarkson has been suspended effective immediately. Sandra Herrera and Lisa Roman discuss the breaking news, how it happened and what’s next for the Houston Dash. This announcement comes after initial findings were received from the joint NWSL and NWSLPA Investigation that was launched in 2021 to review current and historic complaints of discrimination, harassment and abuse. Houston Dash will name an interim head coach in the coming days.
