Clayton joins James this week on the Gameweek Review Podcast to discuss all the weekend's games, which included more misfiring premiums, but there were good returns to be had elsewhere and that included a haul for Ebe Eze against a hapless and rotated Tottenham. For Tottenham and Manchester United (who were beaten by West Ham) all focus is on the Europa League Final which is why Ollie Watkins and Cole Palmer are likely to be so popular this week for Fantasy managers! Should they be under captaincy consideration? Plus, Arsenal pulled it back at Anfield where Trent Alexander-Arnold was booed, Newcastle beat 10 man Chelsea who saw Nicolas Jackson sent off, Villa, Brentford and Brighton picked up important wins, whilst Forest slipped up against Leicester and Southampton somehow held Manchester City and a returning Erling Haaland to claw themselves to 12 points. Fantasy targets for what remains covered, the pull of rolling for GW38, what will Palace and City do next week following the FA Cup Final, players to consider for those with a Free Hit left and lots more... JImbo is joined in the studio by Tim Spiers, Jay Harris and Adrian Clarke after a pivotal weekend in the chase for Champions League football. Arsenal fight back from 2-0 down to draw at Anfield ahead of their clash with Newcastle in the battle for 2nd. But it’s the reception for the departing Trent Alexander-Arnold from the Liverpool faithful that will dominate the headlines. Nottingham Forest are now on the outside looking in after a 2-2 draw at home to relegated Leicester, with Evangelos Marinakis taking centre-stage after the game. It’s looking good for Newcastle after a big win over Chelsea, plus Aston Villa and the under-appreciated Ollie Watkins. The Europa League finalists Man United and Spurs slip to 16th and 17th after yet another pair of defeats on Sunday. Carl Anka has more from West Ham’s win at Old Trafford. Plus the play-offs, chess master Eze and Saints trolling. Produced by Charlie Jones. A good weekend for Kevin's, as De Bruyne's winner sealed victory for Manchester City against Wolves, and Brentford's Schade got two in victory for Brentford against Manchester United. But it was largely another week where many popular assets underperformed again. Suj and James review all the weekend games which included a surprise loss for Arsenal against Bournemouth and the top 5 race intensified with 6 teams scrapping for four places; wjilst there's still a Conference League place for four other teams to potentially fight over. So there are some with plenty still to play for, but for others a limp finish to the line beckons. That will likely include West Ham and Tottenham who played out a drab draw in the Planet FPL Derby. And Tottenham are in the news for Fantasy purposes today with confirmation that their fixture at Villa will be brought forward but remains in Gameweek 37, meaning there will be no more doubles. Solutions offered for those still with the Triple Captaincy and Free Hit covered, Suj nearly hit glory with his Assman but options are now limited for 36, James discusses his Wildcard and transfer targets for what's left are covered throughout the Podcast. On Clash of the Correspondents James is joined by West Ham fan Chris Stone and Southampton fan Matt Samuel to discuss the latest at their clubs ahead of Saturday's GW33 Meeting at The London Stadium. Are West Ham assets being overlooked for doublers incorrectly? There's discussion on the likes of Alphonse Areola, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Mohammed Judus and Jarrod Bowen. It's been a disappointing campaign for The Hammers but for Southampton it could yet be the worst of them all as they bif to overhaul Derby's record low points tally of 11. Can they do it? Plus, further discussion on the difficulty now for promoted clubs, what might be next for Southampton and moves West Ham may make in the summer. On the first of two Clash of the Correspondents this week James is joined by Ipswich Town fan Paul Gaught-Allen and Arsenal fan Adam Pritchard to discuss the latest at their clubs ahead of Sunday's Double Gameweek 33 meeting at Portman Road. Arsenal assets will be popular this week for FPL managers, they are faced with arguably the most attractive fixtures in the Gameweek, but with the Champions League now clearly the priority with the Premier League title chase gone are they actually worth investing in? There's particular concern for those looking at long-term investment but also cautious warnings about the immediate Double, which those intending to go Mikel Arteta with the Assistant Manger Chip or/and Bulayo Saka with the captaincy should take particular note of. Should it be double defence or double attack for Free Hitters? There's discussion on all the important Arsenal FPL assets. Ipswich may not appeal for now, but they may well have the best final 4 fixtures, could the likes of Liam Delap appeal for late Wildcarders? And what are the prospects for 3.8 defender Ben Johnson, a scorer at Chelsea at the weekend, and playing on the right of midfield? And, there's discussion on The Gunners chances in the Champions League, what may happen to Ipswich next season and what can bridge the gap between The Championship and the Premier League. Arsenal: a title chase failure or on the precipice of European glory? Rog and Rory ask the question after this weekend's 1 - 1 draw with Brentford. Liverpool go one step closer to the Premier League title thanks to a last-gasp winner over West Ham from Big Virg. Manchester City batter Crystal Palace as they try and avoid a Top Four gap year. Things get even worse for Manchester United keepers. And David Moyes does it again, as Everton beat European hopefuls Nottingham Forest 1-nil. The Mayor of FPL Tom Campbell stands in to host the Gameweek Review Podcast with James and cover a weekend that saw disappointment for four of the five clubs who played in Europe in midweek, and it has so far underwhelmed for many who have chips active. Eyes now turn towards the next Double, with Crystal Palace, who were beaten by a Kevin De Bruyne inspired Manchester City doubling, and so to do City. Could KDB be worth a nostalgic final punt for Fantasy managers ahead of leaving at the season's conclusion? Villa, also double, but it's tough on paper and they may rotate again as they did at the weekend though we did learn Morgan Rogers truly is indestructible. So Are Arsenal the team to target for investment despite dropping more points against Brentford and with little to play for in the league? It's little to play for as Liverpool are now only two wins from the title, and James makes the case to consider assets from The Reds and yesterday's opponents West Ham despite neither doubling in the week ahead. Plus, there's discussion on captaincy for GW33, the top 5 race and how harshly should Manchester United and Tottenham, who both conceded four, be viewed. Jimbo has Duncan Alexander, Daniel Storey and Matt Davies-Adams for company as the race for Champions League football gets very interesting. Newcastle make light work of Man United with a 4-1 victory at St James’s Park. Are they the best team in the country right now. And could they finish 2nd? Chelsea come from 2-0 down to Ipswich to salvage a point but fan discontent grows at Stamford Bridge. And it’s squeaky bum time for Nottingham Forest who lose again at home to Everton. Could Moyes do a Nuno next season? Liverpool could win the title next weekend after Van Dijk’s late winner against West Ham. And we ponder the chances of the English clubs in the Champions League next week. Plus Villa Park is great, Spurs are a shambles and goal difference is a lie. Produced by Charlie Jones. PSG prove why they’ve been touted as favourites to win this competition after bamboozling a spirited Villa, plus dark horses Inter take an advantage back to the San Siro. Away from all the European fun, another big week of Premier League football awaits. Can Liverpool get back on track against West Ham? And is Mo Salah staying after all?! Can Manchester City get over their recent Crystal Palace hoodoo? Is this the weekend Newcastle take advantage in the race for a top five finish?
