Super Sunday | Arsenal thump five past City | Carra praises ‘superstar’ Lewis-Skelly | Henry and Carra criticise Haaland’s performance

Dave Jones presents Super Sunday from the Emirates stadium and is joined by Jamie Carragher, Micah Richards, and Thierry Henry to discuss the talking points from Arsenal’s emphatic 5-1 win against Manchester City. Myles Lewis-Skelley once again impressed and Jamie Carragher described the teenager as a ‘superstar’, saying his arrogance is similar to Jude Bellingham and Wayne Rooney’s. Thierry Henry and Carragher were also critical of Erling Haaland's performance, after the Norwegian striker struggled to get involved with the game, despite scoring against the Gunners. There is also reaction from both teams, with goalscorers Martin Odegaard and Kai Havertz speaking to Pat Davison after the match. Declan Rice was named the player-of-the-match and admitted that the 'bad blood' between Arsenal and Manchester City has been building. Mikel Arteta and Pep Guardiola also give their contrasting views. Who You Got: Manchester United's winger conundrums, Haaland signs... forever? And can Moyes solve Everton's goal-scoring problems?

On this week's Who You Got, Eoin Sheahan was joined by Will O'Callaghan and Michael McCarthy to preview all the weekend's action across the water. Arsenal take on Aston Villa but with the Gunners lack of striking options, will they have enough to topple Unai Emery's side, who themselves had a win over Everton midweek? Is Boubacar Kamara the most under-rated player in the Premier League? And young 'English Lion' Declan Rice declares that he can play anywhere in the midfield. Manchester United stumbled their way to a 3-1 victory over Southampton thanks to an Amad Diallo hattrick, but could Marcus Rashford and Alejandro Garnacho both be on their way out of Old Trafford? Erling Haaland signs a new Manchester City deal which ties him down, forever, and writes an 'open letter' to Premier League defenders. Will Everton score any goal ever again? And with a Manchester derby on the horizon this weekend, do Man United have any chance of beating their City rivals? Who You Got w/ thanks to William Hill

Man City's fourth consecutive loss | Liverpool flying high | Mikel Arteta and Declan Rice interviews

Vicky Gomersall is joined by The Mirror's Darren Lewis and Sky Sports’ Dharmesh Sheth to reflect on the weekend’s sporting action. We start by discussing Manchester City’s loss at Brighton, a fourth consecutive defeat for Pep Guardiola. It’s “No Rodri, no party” for Dharmesh. Meanwhile, Liverpool go five points clear of City with a home win over Aston Villa. Were Liverpool overlooked at the beginning of the season? Elsewhere, Paul Merson returns to his old club to sit down with Mikel Arteta and Declan Rice; Arteta assures Merson that Arsenal are “here to win”, despite a recent dip in form. Also, Johnny Phillips discusses tactics with Enzo Maresca, who talks of keeping the identity of his team consistent, but finding solutions for different opposition. Finally, we talk Thomas Tuchel ahead of the international break. Dharmesh questions “why’s he not in charge now?” and believes there is pressure on both Tuchel and the FA. David Jones presents Saturday Night Football alongside Jamie Redknapp and Theo Walcott who analyse Arsenal’s 2-0 defeat to Bournemouth which sees their unbeaten start to the season come to an end. Super Sunday | Gunners land late blow to City | Walcott hails Rice's impact | Neville suggests City may have a ‘treble hangover'

Micah Richards and Theo Walcott joined Dave Jones on Super Sunday, and they watched Arsenal secure a late win against treble-winners Manchester City at a euphoric Emirates stadium. Substitute Gabriel Martinelli provided the pivotal moment, albeit via a crucial deflection off Nathan Ake. It sparked familiar jubilant scenes in the stands as the Gunners finally beat their rivals after losing the last twelve Premier League fixtures against the Citizens. Richards felt Arsenal were not at their best but said their performance was more intelligent than previous approaches to this fixture and highlighted the performance of William Saliba, who he described as ‘outstanding’. Theo Walcott singled out Declan Rice’s performance in midfield and believes he has taken the Gunners to another level. Gary Neville joined the studio from the commentary gantry and questioned if Manchester City are struggling with a ‘treble hangover’, as they have now lost the last three domestic fixtures in a row after achieving ‘eutopia’ last season. There is also reaction from both dressing rooms with match-winner Martinelli and fellow Brazilian Gabriel Jesus, who feels the win means more than three points. Bernardo Silva conceded that the result was a setback for City, but said it is still very early in the season. Both managers also gave their post-match views, with Mikel Arteta praising the courage of his players, while Pep Guardiola said that he is not concerned about their recent run of domestic defeats. Bournemouth v Arsenal | CotC with Neil Grover & Adam Pritchard | Planet FPL 2023/24

James is joined by Bournemouth fan Neil Grover and Arsenal fan Adam Pritchard to discuss the latest at their clubs and the FPL assets within them in the first of two Clash of the Correspondents this week. The Cherries remain winless under Andoni Iraola but they've had a tough run of fixtures and have only lost to teams within the current top 4. Is there case for optimism still on the South Coast ahead of a kinder run of fixtures after Arsenal? Arsenal remain unbeaten but there appears some cause for concern amongst some recent injury concerns and an absence for Declan Rice would lead to potentially significant alarm. And do they need a no 9? Plus, all the key FPL assets discussed including best Bournemouth options that may enable investment in Liverpool, Bukayo Saka and if he'll ever get a rest, if Gabriel should be back on radar and more... Including if Adam and James can maintain peace after yesterday's North London Derby... MNF | Odegaard spot on as 10-player Arsenal see off Palace | Neville: ‘That was a big test for Arsenal’

Dave Jones is joined by Gary Neville, Jamie Carragher and Karen Carney as they watched Arsenal produce a resolute performance to see out their narrow 1-0 win away at Crystal Palace after Takehiro Tomiyasu was sent off for two soft yellow cards. Neville feels Tomiyasu’s dismissal will have a real impact on players, after the Arsenal full-back’s first caution was for time wasting. Before the game kicked off, Carragher and Neville debated whether Arsenal’s record signing Declan Rice is in the same category as either Roy Keane or Patrick Vieira. Neville also talks about the evolution of the full-back role and the risk and rewards of Tottenham’s tactics against Manchester United on Saturday. The trio also discuss whether there should be a concern around Casemiro's recent form for United after a stuttering start to the season for the midfielder. Speaking after the game, Carney, Neville and Carragher react to the progression of the Lionesses after their World Cup final defeat to Spain and the impact their success will have on women’s football. There is also reaction from both Palace and Arsenal dressing rooms, as Rice, Hodgson and Arteta give their reaction to the result.
