"No respite for poor Ange Postecoglu in one of the most sizzling games of the weekend. His Tottenham Hotspur face Newcastle United. Two wounded, shellshocked teams colliding. All the joy Spurs gleaned from last weekend’s pugnacious draw with City lasted just 90 minutes of learning that Thursday nights are for the Moyes." Rog looks ahead to two massive clashes with Top 4 implications Tottenham vs Newcastle, Aston Villa vs Arsenal, plus El Blazerico, and Man Utd vs Bournemouth. Vicky and Darren are joined by the Times' Charlotte Duncker this week to run through all the big stories from Saturday's Premier League action. The Guardian's Jamie Jackson also joins to analyse Marcus Rashford's low run of form and questions whether the England forward should be dropped from United's starting team. They also make their title predictions after Arsenal extended their lead at the top of the table with a 2-1 win over Wolves, and discuss why Sean Dyche is the right person at the moment to lead Everton's fightback which saw the Blues' first win since their 10-point reduction. Plus an exclusive interview with Jeremy Doku, who discusses his adaption in the Premier League, as well as his friendship with team-mate Jack Grealish. Sunday Supplement is a Sky Sports podcast. FEBRUARY 26, 2003. That is the last time Newcastle United won a Champions League game before thrashing PSG in Matchday 2. And so much has changed in the time between those two wins. The Magpies have witnessed the fading star of Alan Shearer, the lowest lows of relegation, and near fan-revolt under former owner Mike Ashely. But then, the 2021 takeover by the Saudi Public Investment Fund led to new heights on the pitch...and moral conflict off of it. This week, Rog and Rory breakdown what that complicated takeover has meant for a proud team city in a working class city, and for football as a tool of global politics. Then, ANOTHER Italian football scandal catches Sandro Tonali its snare. Plus, the moment we've all been waiting for...Rory's official position on Stottie cakes.
