Derby d’Italia drama and Igor Tudor to Spurs

The Derby d’Italia this weekend felt crucial in the race for this year’s Scudetto. Musa and Ryan chat about Inter leaving it late to beat Juventus (05:03), who were down to ten for the entire second half at San Siro, after a very controversial second yellow for Pierre Kalulu. It took a brilliant winner from Piotr Zieliński to win the game and send Inter eight points clear of the top, thanks to Napoli’s draw with Roma. In the middle of all that, there’s a big detour about manager’s first touches and player showboating (17:39), before chatting about Igor Tudor becoming the Tottenham Hotspur men’s interim head coach (34:53). Finally, there’s a round-up (45:33) featuring La Liga, Bundesliga, FA Cup, a rare case of a spiritually onside goal actually counting and Mo Salah doing his bit for content. Inside Frank's sacking at Tottenham Hotspur

When Thomas Frank was appointed Tottenham Hotspur’s new head coach in June 2025, his task was to rebuild the club’s culture. In this new format, 'Ring For Analysis', conversation ranges from booing, to unconscious downing of tools and a points-per-game quiz. As Eze As It Gets | Planet FPL S. 9 Ep. 24 | GW12 Review | Fantasy Premier League

It's a Gameweek Review debut for David Hunter as he joins James, but the timing could hardly have been worse as David's Liverpool were humbled 3-0 at Anfield by Nottingham Forest. Still, David can share his pain with James who watched on from The Emirates as Tottenham were destroyed at The Emirates with Eberechi Eze scoring a hat-trick. The pain, is obvious. All the games reviewed as usual and both David and James are on Wildcard so there is a major focus on players to invest in for FPL and there will be a number in the community on Free Hit too so there are plenty of one week punt suggestions as well. The fine line between ‘it’s so over’ and ‘we’re so back’

It was a rollercoaster weekend in the Premier League, with many clubs being thrown from joy one minute to despair the next. Musa and Ryan focus on Manchester City’s 3-0 over Liverpool (03:30), which saw another goal for Erling Haaland and arguably Jeremy Doku’s best performance in a City shirt so far. For Liverpool, it was another day to forget and there’s yet more to ponder for Arne Slot during this men's international break. Sunderland did what no side has done this season, by scoring two against Arsenal at the Stadium of Light (21:38), there was late drama at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium and more great wins for Villa, West Ham, Brentford and Everton. There's also chat about Pep Guardiola, after he reached 1000 games as a manager this weekend. All the non-Premier League stuff will be on the midweek show, up Wednesday for members, and for any London listeners, don't forget to get tickets for our first live show at the Southbank Centre here.
