FNF: Toney hits double as Brentford win against Brighton | Nev: Not taking him to Qatar is a risk

Kelly Cates is joined by Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher as Ivan Toney inspired Brentford to a 2-0 win against Brighton & Hove Albion on the Friday Night Football at the Gtech community stadium. Both Carragher and Neville agreed that Toney should be included in Gareth Southgate’s World Cup squad with the latter saying it would be a risk not to include the in-form striker. The match-winner also revealed that he does not look at the ball once when taking a penalty as he extended his perfect record. There is also reaction from both Thomas Frank and Roberto De Zerbi. Weekend Preview: Time for Richarlison to replace Son, England's Toney to trouble Arsenal, Forest need points over performance

Dan Bardell and George Elek are joined by the Athletic's Jay Harris to look ahead to all seven games this weekend as the Premier League returns from a week off. There's a big game on Friday night between two promoted sides Nottingham Forest and Fulham, can Forest pick up some points to match their promising performances of late, or will Mitrovic be too much for that leaky defence? There are question marks over Son's place in the Spurs team as they get set to take on Leicester, Brentford take on Arsenal with Ivan Toney looking to celebrate his England call-up with a big performance, and there's a big game for Steven Gerrard as Aston Villa look to back up that point against Man City with a positive result at home to Southampton on Friday night All that plus Wolves v Man City, Everton v West Ham and Newcastle v Bournemouth Hosted on Acast. Graham Potter’s Chelsea, where next for Thomas Tuchel, La Juventus, England’s Ivan Toney?

Joe Devine, Jon Mackenzie and Liam Twomey are here to talk about football. Will Graham Potter work at Chelsea? Which players will benefit and who should be sad? All of these questions are answered to at least a minimum level of competence… For Thomas Tuchel, where next for, depending on your definition, an “elite” manager? It could be Juventus, who are struggling to recapture old glories under Max Allegri. Who should Brighton appoint as their next canny coaching hire? And should Ivan Toney be heading to Qatar with England? Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

Utterly Absurd | Planet FPL S. 6 Ep. 12 with @UtterlyTC | Fantasy Premier League

Tom Campbell aka @UtterlyTC stands in again for Suj to join James and discuss the implications and fallout from a controversial Gameweek 6 in the Premier League - and leads to probably (we can't be bothered to research it) the longest Planet #FPL Podcast to date. There's debate on the VAR decisions that upset many football purists over the weekend and it was a difficult weekend for many FPL managers and it seems many Wildcards could be activated but James makes the case to wait a week. Among the controversy there was some very good football to discuss as Liverpool and Man City both slipped up and showed vulnerabilities, there's theory as to why both happened. Arsenal's 100% record went at Old Trafford but they played well for the majority while Tottenham took advantage with a much improved performance against Fulham. Plus, Ivan Toney's hat-trick, Thomas Tuchel's interesting use of Raheem Sterling late in Chelsea's win, the tactical change that enabled a stunning comeback for Bournemouth and brilliant Brighton have left Brendan Rodgers on the brink... James welcomes Brentford fan Tom Medd and Everton fan Sean Norton to discuss all the latest at their clubs ahead of Saturday's meeting in West London. What system is best for The Bees? Brentford with @FPLDummyTom | Correspondent Week ep 6 | Planet FPL

Suj & James wrap up Correspondent Week Tuesday by discussing Brentford with @FPLDummyTom and there should be plenty of interest for FPL managers with some well priced assets and a very interesting opening set of fixtures. Is David Raya the clear number one in goal or could new signing Thomas Strakosha take his place? There's a detailed debate on the goalkeeper situation followed by concern about injuries at centre-back, a position which has been bolstered by the addition of Ben Mee. Is record signing Keane Lewis-Potter likely to start or will fellow 5.5 FPL midfielder Yoanne Wissa keep his place? Plus Aaron Hickey's potential, why Bryan Mbeumo shouldn't be discounted, second season syndrome, the loss of Christian Eriksen and the potential gold in 4.5 Josh DaSilva and the consistently excellent Ivan Toney...
