Dave Jones presents Super Sunday from the Tottenham Hotspur stadium alongside Les Ferdinand, Jamie Redknapp, and Jamie Carragher and they analysed all the talking points from a very eventful game which saw league-leaders Liverpool score six times, which guaranteed them to be top of the table at Christmas. Redknapp described Liverpool’s performance as ‘incredible’ and said they exposed every weakness of Tottenham. Carragher agreed and felt the scoreline could have been much worse for the hosts. Trent Alexander-Arnold once again produced an eye-catching performance, and with the full-back's contract still to be resolved, Carra believes he would be remembered as one of the greats to play for the club if he does decide to stay at Anfield. Ange Postecoglou reacted after the match, saying it was a painful day for Spurs as they could not compete at the same level as the hosts. In contrast, Arne Slot was obviously delighted with his players’ display and felt it was their best away performance of the season despite conceding three times. Pat Davison also speaks to goalscorer Mo Salah and Tottenham captain Son Heung-Min. Day 3 of Correspondent Week kicks off with Wolves fan Bradley Parker joining James to discuss everything at Molineux and despite a very tough opening set of fixtures there's positivity around Gary O'Neil's team and they may be about to move to a back four with more frequency following the sale of Max Kilman to West Ham. There's discussion on the three attacking 6.5 players who may appeal when the fixtures turn, Hwang Hee Chan, Matheus Cunha and Pedro Neto and there's an intro to three new exciting signings in Pedro Lima, Rodrigo Gomes and Jorgen Strand Larsen, Rayan Ait-Nouri at Jose Sa are nicely priced at 4.5 and need monitoring, whilst Bradley believes there may be a permanent 4.0 starter in the team. But with the fixtures looking challenging should they remain a watch and wait? Plus, ticket price increases have caused anger among the fanbase and Bradley gives his opinion on Kilman and former manager Julen Lopetegui at West Ham Follow Bradley on Twitter/x: https://twitter.com/parker_bradley Next on Correspondent Week: ep.10 Newcastle United with Simon Bibby For the full Planet FPL schedule this week, including our offering on Patreon view this post: https://www.patreon.com/posts/109354364 Want to become a member of our FPL community and support the Podcast? James is joined by Wolves fan Bradley Parker and Bournemouth fan Neil Grover on Clash of the Correspondents with the two sides set to face off at Molineux as part of Double Gameweek 34 and there will be plenty of interest in FPL assets from both clubs, particularly from those on a Free Hit. But do the two teams have anything to play for? The key talismen, Matheus Cunha and Dominic Solanke are discussed and there are pros and cons covered about the week ahead for both forwards. Attacking and enabling alternatives from both clubs may well go under the radar such as Pablo Sarabia and Justin Kluivert, though per haps they shouldn't. And what can be expected from a returning Hwang Hee-Chan? Many FPL managers will be awaiting key news on Wolves OOP defender Rayan Ait-Nouri, but will he even remain as part of an attacking front 3 if fit, and is he even the best OOP left footed defender for the week ahead from these two clubs? Milos Kerkez could well end up in a more advanced position for The Cherries. Plus, conversation on Gary O'Neil and Andoni Iraola, the goalkeepers, injuries, form, fixtures and more... James returns from his hiatus to join Suj for the Review of the Blank Gameweek 26 weekend that featured a major gamble on Wolves offensive players and particularly Hwang Hee-Chan, who blanked while differential and alternative Aston Villa players in Douglas Luiz and Leon Bailey went off. All the games discussed including Pep's wild set up in victory at Bournemouth, Arsenal's dismantling of a woeful Newcastle and Manchester United's good run coming to an abrupt halt by an outstanding and Fulham-less Joao Palhinha. Plus, there's notes on the team who blanked this weekend, the 3 type of FPL managers in relation to Dominic Solanke ownership, captaincy for the weekend ahead and the importance of the midweek FA Cup games and why the surprises could lead to big changes in Chip Strategy. "I would say, try not to attack too much vs. Uruguay because the counter-attack will be very difficult for the USA team to defend, which was something that we've done for so many years. Now I think it's a little bit different (...) Maybe at the moment, Uruguay is a team that tries to pass the ball and wants to go to the goal directly." Herc had a candid conversation with Diego Forlan, Uruguay's legend, Copa America Champion, former Manchester United player, and the current ambassador of La Liga in Spain. Diego shared why he and the Jabulani ball were a trending topic during the World Cup South Africa 2010 with Uruguay. He also delved into his friend Luis Suarez's recent signing with Messi's Inter Miami, Manchester United's current situation, his role as an ambassador in La Liga, and some Copa America 2024 talk. Plus, Herc shared his thoughts about the recent rumors of Alphonso Davies transferring to Real Madrid.
