Man City humbled by Spurs | Ruben Amorim exclusive interview | Arsenal back to winning ways as Saka shines

Vicky Gomersall is joined by the The Mirror's Darren Lewis and Sky Sports Football Chief Reporter Kaveh Solhekol to reflect on the weekend’s sporting action. We start by looking at Manchester City’s decline, with a 4-0 loss at home to Tottenham on Saturday Night Football. Kaveh believes City can still turn it around. Next to Gary Neville’s exclusive interview with Ruben Amorim, who talks expectations, differences moving to the Premier League, and his non-negotiables. Elsewhere, Arsenal get their title challenge back on track beating Nottingham Forest 3-0 at home. Kaveh praises their physicality and defensive strength but have they let Liverpool gain too much of an advantage? Also, Natalie Gedra sits down with Bruno Fernandes, who talks of expectations on Manchester United and Ruben Amorim’s intensity in training. And Lynsey Hooper chats to Rodri, who sleeps with the Ballon d’Or, but doesn’t think the win has sunk in yet. Finally, Kaveh thinks Enzo Maresca has got Chelsea moving in the right direction after another win against his old club Leicester. Sunday Supplement is a Sky Sports podcast. Arsenal v Nottingham Forest | CotC with Adam Pritchard & Mark Sutherns | Planet FPL 2024/25

On Clash of the Correspondents James is joined by Arsenal fan Adam Pritchard and Nottingham Forest fan Mark Sutherns to discuss the FPL assets at their clubs and the current key talking points ahead of the GW12 meeting between the clubs at The Emirates. And it's two clubs who currently sit inside the top 5 on 19 points. Forest have very much exceeded expectation so far, so is a push for European qualification now a realistic goal? While for Arsenal the gap to leaders Liverpool is already 9 points, how concerning is this or do Arsenal now have a set of fixtures that will make them believe they can close the gap? There's discussion on key attacking Arsenal assets Bukayo Saka and Kai Havertz, whether double Arsenal defence is the way to go, why Jurrien Timber is likely to attract increased attention and the importance of Martin Odegaard's return. While Forest assets, it now looks tough on the fixture ticker, is talisman Chris Wood now in the sell or avoid zone despite an impressive season? Or should he and a defensive asset, with excellent defensive numbers, still be considered for investment? Brentford v Bournemouth | CotC with Tom Medd & Neil Grover | Planet FPL 2024/25

James is joined on Clash of the Correspondents by Brentford fan Tom Medd and Bournemouth fan Neil Grover to discuss the latest at their clubs, and some key FPL assets from within them ahead of the meeting between them in GW11 at The Gtech, and spoiler, goals are expected. Should goals arrive key talismen Bryan Mbeumo and Antoine Semenyo are likely to be involved. What are the prospects for these popular FPL assets both in the immediate and for the longer-term? There's also discussion on the best defensive assets from each with Mark Flekken, Sepp Van Den Berg and Milos Kerkez all featuring. Whilst upfront, there is perhaps surprisingly unanimous agreement on which of Evanilson and Yoane Wissa provides the best investment in the forward line for FPL managers. Plus, with Brentford having taken 13 points from 5 home games and Bournemouth off the back of 7 points in 3 consecutive games against Champions League qualifiers the question is posed of how much can these two clubs achieve for the rest of this season. And for one in particular there is a remarkable statistic over the last 38 games.
