Musa and Ryan begin with Napoli returning home to beat Fiorentina and celebrate their first Scudetto in 33 years (07:40). There’s praise for Luciano Spalletti, who secured his first Scudetto as manager, and for Victor Osimhen’s importance and the brilliance of the squad. They then chat about Real Madrid’s 2-1 win over Osasuna in the Copa del Rey final (20:23), before heading to the Bundesliga, where Dortmund put six past Wolfsburg (24:34), then to Ligue 1, where there was a nine-goal thriller between Lyon and Montpellier (30:07). They also cover the rumours that José Mourinho might be heading to PSG (32:34). Finally, there’s some brief Premier League chat (check 'Wrighty’s House' on Tuesday for more!) and a WSL roundup, plus shout-outs for Celtic, Notts County and another chaotic Superclásico. On Clash of the Correspondents this week Jameas is joined by Wolves fan Bradley Parker and Aston Villa fan Lee Jackson to preview Saturday's GW35 meeting at Molineux and discuss the latest at their clubs. It was a dismal showing for Wolves as they conceded six at Brighton on Saturday. Was it a giant blip in what has so far been a positive climb out of trouble for Julen Lopetegui's side? Or is there real cause for concern? Villa too suffered a setback at Old Trafford on Sunday in their quest for European qualification but with the 3 teams directly above to follow Wolves Unai Emery's side know qualification for Thursday night football is very much in their hands. Matt Davies-Adams is joined in The Athletic studio by Duncan Alexander, Charlie Eccleshare and Joey D’Urso in a week chock-full of Champions League, Premier League and FA Cup action. Man City ease past Bayern to set up a Champions League semi-final rematch with Real Madrid, as Erling Haaland is agonisingly close to doing a Clive Allen. Real unsurprisingly sweep aside Chelsea to end their season. How far could the Blues slip down the table over the next 7 games? The other semi-final will be a Milan derby, thanks partly to the unfashionable fleece Olivier Giroud. James Horncastle tells us why defeat will feel like relegation for the losing side. It’s FA Cup semi-final weekend and Brighton and Sheffield United are the teams looking to foil a first ever all Manchester final. The Premier League weekend sees top play bottom and what could be a Champions League play-off between Newcastle and Spurs. Plus Steven Gerrard at Villa, the last 10 minutes of Gillingham v Leyton Orient, and Duncan versus Producer Charlie in the Inter Totally Cup! Produced by Charlie Jones. Matt Davies-Adams is in the hot-seat, with James Horncastle, Raphael Honigstein, Julien Laurens and Alvaro Romeo for company. Napoli trail Milan by a goal in the most delicately balanced Champions League quarter-final. Can the returning Osimhen fire the Serie A leaders to the semi-finals? It’s mission improbable for Chelsea and Bayern. Can the next manager get the Blues back into the Champions League? And would Bayern be open to selling Sadio Mane? Domestically, Dortmund somehow threw away a two-goal lead with an extra man in a major dent to their title credentials. PSG look to have sealed another title but could it be Thiago Motta in the dugout at the Parc Des Princes next season? And bridges continue to be burned between Barcelona and Real Madrid. We witness the highest level of football as Man City dismantle Bayern 3-0 at the Etihad. Raphael Honigstein tells us about the Sane-Mane bust-up and why Bayern don’t have buyer’s remorse over Thomas Tuchel. Chelsea might be feeling more remorseful when it comes to Tuchel as Frank Lampard’s side are easily swept aside by Real Madrid. They’re a mid-table side and a team of individuals. It’s been a busy week of league and cup matches around Europe, so Musa and Ryan begin at Camp Nou, where Real Madrid put four past Barcelona to progress to the Copa del Rey final to face Osasuna, who are there for only the second time in their history (03:32). Next it’s off to Germany, where Freiburg recorded a historic win at Bayern to end Thomas Tuchel’s side’s hopes of a treble (12:05), Leipzig made a tough week tougher for Dortmund and there were more goals from Randal Kolo Muani. In Italy, there were grim scenes as Romelu Lukaku received more racist abuse at Juventus, then received a second yellow for his response to the crowd after scoring Inter’s equalising penalty (19:15). Finally, there’s also some chat about this week’s round of Premier League fixtures, including a great night for Newcastle and yet another win for Aston Villa (24:35), plus a bit on Frank Lampard’s return to Chelsea, recorded before the news was confirmed. Dave Jones presents 'Saturday Night Football' alongside Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink and Lee Hendrie, and they watched Aston Villa beat Chelsea 2-0 at Stamford Bridge to move above the hosts and into the top half of the Premier League. Lee described Chelsea’s defending as ‘schoolboy’ whilst Jimmy said their main problem is putting the ball in the back of the net and they need to be calmer in front of goal. The duo also highlighted Ollie Watkins’ performance which was capped by another away goal and the forward produced a standout performance. Mykhaylo Mudryk again failed to impress for Chelsea and missed some key chances, but Hasselbaink defended the forward saying that he needs more time to settle. However, Hendrie feels the Ukrainian should have converted the opportunities he failed to capitalise on. They also discuss Graham Potter’s future, and feel if the negative results continue, the pressure will build. Hendrie thinks the Champions League tie against Real Madrid will be crucial to determine Potter's outcome. Hasselbaink however believes Chelsea’s board should look at Arsenal’s decision to back Mikel Arteta and trust the process as the Gunners are a great example of adopting that approach. There is also reaction from both goal scorers, Ollie Watkins and John McGinn as well as Graham Potter, who felt Chelsea were second best in both boxes despite having more attempts. Unai Emery also gives his views on the result and said that securing European football for next season will be difficult, but they will try to achieve it.
