They maintained their two-point lead over Barcelona - who beat Getafe 3-0 - with Marcus Rashford starting on the bench due to his poor timekeeping… Over in France, we were made to wait for Le Classique with dramatic storms sweeping over the Cote d'Azur… don’t worry, Jules will give his reaction to *that* result next week! Thankfully, we were able to talk about a fiery Brittany derby and Monaco’s resurgent Ansu Fati. In Serie A, Juve were perhaps suffering from a UCL hangover as they were held to a frustrating 1-1 draw at Hellas Verona, while Lorenzo Pellegrini’s remarkable redemption arc at Roma continued as he scored the only goal in Roma’s first win ‘away’ to Lazio since 2016.
