It's green arrows for Suj and James on the Gameweek 19 Review but very different fortunes for their teams on a dramatic Thursday night as Brighton scored four against Tottenham at The Amex and West Ham caused a shock by winning 2-0 at Arsenal. And they weren't the only surprises this week as Chris Wood scored a stunning hat-trick in Nottingham Forest's victory at Newcastle, while Wolves were another team to score big as they scored four at Brentford and there were some surprising bonus points for offensive FPL defenders. All the games covered, including Manchester United's comeback victory against Aston Villa and Manchester City looked back to their best at Everton with Phil Foden the star of the show. And there's lots to debate ahead of tomorrow's GW20 FPL Deadline, with several great options for captaincy and some extreme benching headaches for some may lead to an activation of a number of Bench Boost chips. But there are warnings of more potential weekend rotation and notes that although GW20 may look great on paper for many FPL managers GW21 needs to be kept in mind, particularly with so many players leaving for AFCON and the Asia Cup. Tomorrow on Planet FPL: James presents the GW20 Deadline Stream in partnership with FPL Team, Live at 10am GMT on the Planet FPL YouTube channel Today on Patreon: The Differential Show GW20 Preview For the full Planet FPL schedule this week, including our offering on Patreon view this post: https://www.patreon.com/posts/content-dec-24th-95233013 Want to become a member of our FPL and SkyFF community and support the Podcast? On Clash of the Correspondents James is joined by West Ham fan Chris Stone and Brighton fan Sam Murray to discuss all the latest at their clubs ahead of their GW20 meeting in East London and both clubs are still to play tonight in GW19. Jarrod Bowen is currently FPL's 5th highest scoring player but will the departure of Mohammed Kudus to AFCON mean Bowen moves back to the right? Should they be a concern for owners or those intending to invest? Or is he likely to be a popular captaincy choice in GW21 at Sheffield United? Brighton just wish they had players who could play wide, with Kaoru Mitoma and Simon Adingra added to a lengthy injury list. Could 4.7 midfielder Facundo Buonanotte step up or is the multi talented Pascal Gross a better investment? Could Jooa Pedro now see increased minutes in a wider role? Both teams have attractive long-term fixtures and don't play again in the Europa League until March. Enablers such as Alphonse Areola and Jan Paul Van Hecke are also covered, but both have struggled for clean sheets; could that be about to change? And for Brighton, the popular Pervis Estupinan is back... James is joined by Clayton for a look beyond the festive period and into January when the majority of Premier League clubs will have players leaving to play in the African Cup of Nations and Asia Cup. There's discussion on the impacts for FPL which kicks off with ideas of what to do with all the spare money if managers intend to sell Mo Salah and Heung-Min Son. There's coverage of how many weeks key players are likely to be away with analysis of the maximum and minimum FPL weeks that players could miss, who's likely to go from each club, the impact on those clubs, players who may benefit from those departing and the clubs that should be targeted for investment from FPL managers during the period of the international tournaments. Matt Davies-Adams welcomes Lynsey Hooper, Michael Cox and Tom Williams to the latest Totally Football Show. Lynsey gives us an on the ground perspective of England’s form and thought processes after the demolition of Norway 8-0 on Monday night. Is this the high point or is the best yet to come for the Lionesses? There’s also a look ahead to the rest of the week's Euro fixtures as the group stages draw to a close. In Transfer Talk, we wonder why Wolves haven’t signed anyone beyond the most expensive Irish footballer ever (no not Robbie Keane) in Nathan Collins. We also consider if thirty million pounds is too much for Morgan Gibbs-White, and whether Everton are making the same mistakes yet again in the transfer market. On the 14th July in 2006 the punishments in the Calciopoli scandal were doled out, at exactly the same time as Italy were on the way to winning the World Cup! We reflect on that tournament in Germany including compelling commentary, excellent ads and… yes we talk about the headbutt. Plus we point you in the direction of The Athletic’s coverage of the Woman’s Africa Cup of Nations, because it’s excellent. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

Hosts Dan Bardell and George Elek are joined by bet365's Steve Freeth to preview Ralf Rangnick's first Manchester Derby as speculation over their next new manager intensified again this week...
