Arsenal return as only they can, Hawk-Eye proves fallible after all, and the Champions League: Lisbon Edition takes shape

Jules Breach, Jim Campbell and Andy Brassell are here to finally look back over some Premier League action! 100 days without it and we immediately get controversy over technology and Arsenal imploding. The more things change the more they stay the same. In Manchester the follically barren charlatan Pep Guardiola got one over on former assistant Mikel Arteta after a trademark David Luiz implosion, while at Villa Park Sheffield United can count themselves incredibly unlucky after goal line technology was revealed to have a blind spot, something that hasn’t been uncovered in over 9,000 games thus far. We also had time to look at the imperious dominance of the Bayern Munich machine, more cardboard cutout fun and a certain somebody’s gluttonous birthday plans. The Blizzard: Red Star 2-2 Bayern Munich, 1991

On today’s episode of Greatest Games, in association with The Blizzard, we’re looking back at an absolutely phenomenal match - one that Jonathan describes as potentially his favourite ever game of football. The Athletic’s Rafa Honigstein joins us to represent the other half of this fixture, as Bayern Munich take on Red Star Belgrade in the second leg of the 1991 European Cup semi-finals. Political instability formed an all-encompassing backdrop to this game, with Slovenia and Croatia both declaring independence unilaterally in the months leading up to this game, and it was built up as a momentous footballing occasion. The 1991 European Cup was a tournament both sides were desperate to win; Bayern were obsessed with winning the European Cup again after 1976, and had suffered some traumatic final defeats in subsequent matches, while the Yugoslavian national side had notoriously lost a range of finals in the latter half of the 20th Century. With a home defeat in the first leg, Bayern were praying for a miracle - as we discover, the game more than lived up to this sizeable billing. Fancy getting in touch? The Preview Show: A nightmare for Spurs, a stern test for Leicester and a potential thriller at St James’ Park

Marcus’ giddy aunt, Ruddy Nora and Gordon Bennett were all present at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium as Bayern Munich continued their sustained efforts to destroy all football in North London with a comprehensive battering of Spurs. Can they put it right against Brighton? Liverpool had a strange Champions League experience themselves, and entertain Leicester and the disrespect-machine that is Jamie Vardy on Saturday. We also look ahead to Norwich hosting Aston Villa and Man United heading up to Newcastle, if only to see if both teams can remember what sport they play. On top of all this gold there’s a peek into our live documents, the return of the Brucey-belly-rub and a half understood assessment of the Robin Williams movie Bicentennial Man. We're on tour, and are performing in Northampton and Brighton this weekend! Idaho, You Da Ho, Pochettino, Bayern Oh No!

This episode came immediately following the absolute slaughter of Tottenham Hotspur at the hands of the Bundesliga giant, Bayern Munich. Gnabry, an ex-Arse player, had 4 goals and claimed that "North London is Red". Tottenham has to remember all of this nonsense for when they march in to Munich and kick their asses in the rematch. But anyway; that's over. We talk about Manchester United in general, their game against Arsenal, Europa League briefing (prior to the tie today), Brad tells us all about his trip to Idaho (#treenerd), his brother comes on, and the final week of Premier League before another USMNT break.

13 - Seven Goals Stun Spurs

The 2 Robbies are back to break down another exciting European week of matches. We start off, with how Spurs fell apart to Bayern Munich. We then look back at Liverpool's 4-3 thriller, while looking ahead to Brendan Rodgers' return to Anfield on Saturday (22:00). Finally we wrap up around the grounds by talking about: Man City getting the business done against Dinamo Zagreb (32:00), Christian Pulisic's status at Chelsea (41:00), Manchester United's boring Thursday (48:00), Arsenal's impressive four versus Standard Liege (54:00), and Wolves' late winner at Besiktas (57:00).
