Part bleeding but still handsome

Italy are European champions. Jimbo, Carl Anka, James Horncastle, Raphael Honigstein, David Preece and Daniel Storey review a wonderful night for the Azzurri but a heart-breaking night for England who lose on penalties at Wembley. Gareth Southgate’s side take a very early lead but are pegged back and worn down by their opponent. Like the 2018 World Cup semi-final but worse. It’s an inspirational group of players but in hindsight, did England throw this Euros away? And did they play that much football in the tournament? As for Italy, we salute a team that every other team made changes to their system for. And of course, they had the amazing Chiellini. The star of this Italy team and finally a European champion. RUNNING ORDER: • PART 1: Carl Anka at Wembley (02m 00s) • PART 2: What went wrong for England? (16m 00s) • PART 3a: What went right for Italy with James Horncastle (25m 00s) • PART 3b: Looking ahead to Qatar (35m 30s) • PART 4: The odds with Paddy Power (45m 00s) • PART 5: Copa America and final conclusions (48m 30s) SIGN UP TO THE ATHLETIC: • theathletic.com/totally GET IN TOUCH: • follow us on Instagram • find us on Facebook • send us a tweet: @TheTotallyShow PARISH NOTICES: • we’re sponsored by Paddy Power - home of the Money Back Special READ STUFF ON OUR WEBSITE: • check out thetotallyfootballshow.com. Man scores volley

For the penultimate pod of the Euros, Jimbo is joined by a bumper crew of James Horncastle, Michael Cox, Tom Williams and Duncan Alexander. Anticipation builds ahead of the final at Wembley on Sunday. Italy the complete team, managed by Mancini the serial winner. Whereas England look to be physically fresher. Are both teams already heroes and in a no-lose situation? We reminisce about a tournament including lots of goals, classic matches and most importantly, fans. And 15 years on from Italy’s last major tournament win, a chat about Zidane’s headbutt on Materazzi, much like the incident itself, gets out of hand. RUNNING ORDER: • PART 1: England v Italy preview (02m 00s) • PART 2: Looking back at Euro 2020 (32m 00s) • PART 3: The odds with Paddy Power (47m 00s) • PART 4: Zidane’s headbutt 15 years on (50m 00s) SIGN UP TO THE ATHLETIC FOR £1 A MONTH FOR YOUR FIRST 6 MONTHS: • theathletic.com/totally GET IN TOUCH: • follow us on Instagram • find us on Facebook • send us a tweet: @TheTotallyShow PARISH NOTICES: • we’re sponsored by Paddy Power - home of the Money Back Special READ STUFF ON OUR WEBSITE: • check out thetotallyfootballshow.com. No root crops on the back pages

Jimbo, Daniel Storey and Duncan Alexander bask in the glory of England reaching their first ever European Championship final. The Three Lions come from behind at Wembley to overcome Denmark and progress to the Euro 2020 final. England - masters of keep-ball, shaking off their demons and of shielding the ball and waiting for a free-kick. We salute the likes of Walker, Rice and Maguire. England will face Italy in the final who eliminated Spain on Tuesday. Alvaro Romeo informs us on how La Roja’s performance has been received and the extent of Barcelona’s struggles with their wage bill. Plus semi-final despair from 2014. And Emi Martinez’s sensational year. RUNNING ORDER: • PART 1: England 2-1 Denmark (02m 00s) • PART 2: Spain’s exit and Barca’s salary struggles (33m 00s) • PART 3: The odds with Paddy Power (43m 30s) • PART 4: On This Day – Brazil 1-7 Germany (46m 30s) SIGN UP TO THE ATHLETIC FOR £1 A MONTH FOR YOUR FIRST 6 MONTHS: • theathletic.com/totally GET IN TOUCH: • follow us on Instagram • find us on Facebook • send us a tweet: @TheTotallyShow PARISH NOTICES: • we’re sponsored by Paddy Power - home of the Money Back Special READ STUFF ON OUR WEBSITE: • check out thetotallyfootballshow.com. Wave of soppy emotion

Jimbo is joined by James Horncastle, Adam Crafton and Daniel Storey as the Azzurri ascend to the final of Euro 2020. It took penalties and a little bit of luck but Italy beat Spain at Wembley and continue to give great value to this tournament. Meanwhile, the future looks bright for Spain with Pedri running the show. But should they have got rid of Ramos? England and Denmark compete on Wednesday to see who will face Italy in the final. Niels Harild tells us how the spirit of 92 is more of a positive than the curse of 66. And how does this group of England players compare to previous crops? Plus Southgate and Sir Bobby – two of a kind? RUNNING ORDER: • PART 1: Italy through to the final at Spain’s expense (02m 00s) • PART 2: England v Denmark preview with Niels Harild (17m 30s) • PART 3: The odds with Paddy Power (33m 30s) • PART 4: On This Day – a big day for Bobby Robson (36m 30s) SIGN UP TO THE ATHLETIC FOR £1 A MONTH FOR YOUR FIRST 6 MONTHS: • theathletic.com/totally GET IN TOUCH: • follow us on Instagram • find us on Facebook • send us a tweet: @TheTotallyShow PARISH NOTICES: • we’re sponsored by Paddy Power - home of the Money Back Special READ STUFF ON OUR WEBSITE: • check out thetotallyfootballshow.com. Giddiness correspondent

Jimbo, Daniel Storey, Carl Anka and Sasha Goryunov react to a fantastic night for the Three Lions in Rome. England cruise past Ukraine 4-0 and into the last 4 of Euro 2020. A performance that was everything we wanted it to be – ruthlessly efficient and an absence of jeopardy. We salute Southgate, Shaw and the Sterling Kane partnership. They will meet Denmark in the semi-finals at Wembley after the Danes dispatch the Czechs thanks to Joakim Maehle’s caramelo. But are they a bit overrated? Plus we revisit the greatest upset in Euros history – Greece going all the way in 2004. RUNNING ORDER: • PART 1: Ukraine 0-4 England (03m 30s) • PART 2: Czech Republic 1-2 Denmark (20m 30s) • PART 3: The odds with Paddy Power (31m 30s) • PART 4: On This Day – Greece win the Euros (34m 00s) SIGN UP TO THE ATHLETIC FOR £1 A MONTH FOR YOUR FIRST 6 MONTHS: • theathletic.com/totally GET IN TOUCH: • follow us on Instagram • find us on Facebook • send us a tweet: @TheTotallyShow PARISH NOTICES: • we’re sponsored by Paddy Power - home of the Money Back Special READ STUFF ON OUR WEBSITE: • check out thetotallyfootballshow.com. Jimbo is alongside Duncan Alexander, Charlie Eccleshare and James Horncastle as Italy & Spain set up a semi-final meeting at Euro 2020. Roberto Mancini’s Italy knock out the number 1 ranked team in the world in Belgium, in a performance that has everything. How have the Azzurri managed to put together this 32-game unbeaten run? And why wasn’t Mancini more in demand? Spain are victorious on penalties against 10-man Switzerland but are hugely wasteful in front of goal again. Alvaro Romeo tells us why the Spanish might be about to click, through unity and conviction. But do they lack personality? In Saturday’s quarter-finals, it’s Czech Republic v Denmark and then, England v Ukraine in Rome. Yevhen Muzyka tells us why Shevchenko isn’t as popular as you might think. Plus we talk Sancho, Nuno and Rafa Benitez, all on the move in club football. RUNNING ORDER: • PART 1: Belgium 1-2 Italy (03m 30s) • PART 2: Spain beat the Swiss on spot-kicks with Alvaro Romeo (20m 30s) • PART 3a: England v Ukraine preview with Yevhen Muzyka (35m 00s) • PART 3b: Czech Republic v Denmark preview (46m 00s) • PART 4: The odds with Paddy Power (49m 30s) • PART 5: Sancho, Nuno and Benitez all on the move (52m 00s) SIGN UP TO THE ATHLETIC FOR £1 A MONTH FOR YOUR FIRST 6 MONTHS: • theathletic.com/totally GET IN TOUCH: • follow us on Instagram • find us on Facebook • send us a tweet: @TheTotallyShow PARISH NOTICES: • we’re sponsored by Paddy Power - home of the Money Back Special READ STUFF ON OUR WEBSITE: • check out thetotallyfootballshow.com. Spiderman meme

Jimbo welcomes Adam Crafton, Raphael Honigstein and Daniel Storey to look back on a momentous day of action as the quarter-finalists at Euro 2020 are finalised. England secure a landmark victory over Germany at Wembley where all of Southgate’s decisions came off. And his squad selection and team selections appear to be vindicated. Is it judgement or luck? Plus how the nation reacts when the hugely endearing Southgate wins. Jogi Low has now managed his last game for Germany, who pay the price for having a halfway house attitude towards their football. England’s opponents in the last 8 will be Ukraine after a game of faffing against Sweden. Julien Laurens joins us for a post-mortem on France’s shock exit from Euro 2020. Plus Bierhoff and here’s to you Mrs Rabiot. Reduced to a screaming seven-year-old

Jimbo, Carl Anka and Daniel Storey try and make sense of quite possibly the greatest day of tournament football ever. Switzerland knock out world champions France on penalties after a 3-3 draw in Bucharest. We try to explain the magnificence of Xhaka and Pogba. And would France have fared better with Laporte? Speaking of Laporte, his Spanish side beat Croatia 5-3 after extra time. How to explain a free-scoring team with a struggling striker? England and Germany face off at Wembley on Tuesday. Raphael Honigstein tells us why he’s worried about German improv up against a heavily rehearsed England. Plus Sweden Ukraine, Dutch despair from 2000 and attempting to explain the own goal epidemic. RUNNING ORDER: • PART 1: Switzerland knock out France on penalties (04m 30s) • PART 2: Croatia 3-5 Spain (19m 00s) • PART 3a: England v Germany preview with Raphael Honigstein (31m 30s) • PART 3b: Sweden v Ukraine preview (47m 00s) • PART 4: The odds with Paddy Power (51m 30s) • PART 5: On This Day – Toldo and Totti torment the Dutch (54m 00s) SIGN UP TO THE ATHLETIC FOR £1 A MONTH FOR YOUR FIRST 6 MONTHS: • theathletic.com/totally GET IN TOUCH: • follow us on Instagram • find us on Facebook • send us a tweet: @TheTotallyShow PARISH NOTICES: • we’re sponsored by Paddy Power - home of the Money Back Special READ STUFF ON OUR WEBSITE: • check out thetotallyfootballshow.com. I’ll bite my own hand

Jimbo welcomes Michael Cox and Duncan Alexander into the pod after a day of illuminating action at the Euros. Czech Republic hog the headlines by eliminating the Netherlands in the first shock of the last 16. But are they still the weakest team in the competition? And can Frank De Boer be blamed for the crazy mistakes of his players? Number 1 ranked Belgium knock out holders Portugal, in a game signposted by selfishness and stroppiness. And it’s time to bust the myth that Ronaldo is good at free-kicks. It’s another big day of action. Juraj Vrdoljak tells us whether Croatia fear Spain, the team that inflicted their heaviest defeat ever. And Julien Laurens previews France v Switzerland, as Pogba looks to build on his position as perhaps the player of the tournament so far. Plus we appreciate Balotelli, Cassano and Prandelli 9 years on. RUNNING ORDER: • PART 1: Netherlands 0-2 Czech Republic with Karel Haring (03m 30s) • PART 2: Belgium 1-0 Portugal (16m 30s) • PART 3a: Croatia v Spain preview with Juraj Vrdoljak (29m 00s) • PART 3b: France v Switzerland preview with Julien Laurens (34m 00s) • PART 4: The odds with Paddy Power (46m 45s) • PART 5: On This Day – Super Mario Balotelli in 2012 (49m 00s) SIGN UP TO THE ATHLETIC FOR £1 A MONTH FOR YOUR FIRST 6 MONTHS: • theathletic.com/totally GET IN TOUCH: • follow us on Instagram • find us on Facebook • send us a tweet: @TheTotallyShow PARISH NOTICES: • we’re sponsored by Paddy Power - home of the Money Back Special READ STUFF ON OUR WEBSITE: • check out thetotallyfootballshow.com. Rushing to the wrong fire

Jimbo’s back and he’s brought Sasha Goryunov and Tom Williams with him as the knockout stages of Euro 2020 get underway. Denmark dismantle Wales 4-0 in Amsterdam as their fairy-tale continues to the quarter-finals. Niels Harild tells us why the Danes are daring to dream of a repeat of 1992. What will Gareth Bale do next? International football only? Golf? Italy need extra time to eliminate Austria at Wembley, with the beaten side showing just how good they are. Having seen glimpses of Belgium at their best, will we be able to see a classic with Portugal on the worst pitch at the tournament in Seville? And with no side showing themselves to be completely dominant, Michiel Jongsma fancies the Netherlands to go to the semi-finals as pessimism is replaced by arrogance. Plus England 1-2 Iceland – five years on. RUNNING ORDER: • PART 1: Wales 0-4 Denmark with Niels Harild (03m 30s) • PART 2: Italy 2-1 Austria (19m 30s) • PART 3a: Belgium v Portugal preview (28m 30s) • PART 3b: Netherlands v Czech Republic preview with Michiel Jongsma (34m 00s) • PART 4: The odds with Paddy Power (43m 30s) • PART 5: On This Day – England 1-2 Iceland (47m 00s) SIGN UP TO THE ATHLETIC FOR £1 A MONTH FOR YOUR FIRST 6 MONTHS: • theathletic.com/totally GET IN TOUCH: • follow us on Instagram • find us on Facebook • send us a tweet: @TheTotallyShow PARISH NOTICES: • we’re sponsored by Paddy Power - home of the Money Back Special READ STUFF ON OUR WEBSITE: • check out thetotallyfootballshow.com. Big club football

Matt Davies Adams, Daniel Storey and Adam Crafton are here on the day of goals and destiny in the Euros. In Group F, F stood for fun as each team at some stage were bottom of the table or facing England in the next round. In Group E, we weren't expecting too much but Spain came to have a fiesta, with a hand from Martin Dubravka, whilst Sweden and Poland put on a five goal thriller. So have Spain finally arrived? And now all eyes turn to the Round of 16 which kicks off on Saturday with Wales v Denmark with the former left asking "are we the badies?" And we try to work out if there's any way past Italy for Austria. All that plus a dive into UEFA's "politics", some Euro 2004 action, and our updated predictions. RUNNING ORDER PART 1: Germany 2-2 Hungary with Rafael Honigstein (03m 30s) PART 1b: Portugal 2-2 France with Julien Laurens (10m 30s) PART 2a: Spain 5-0 Slovakia (20m 30s) PART 2b: Sweden 3-2 Poland (24m 30s) PART 3: News (28m 30s) PART 4a: Wales v Denmark preview (38m 30s) PART 4b: Italy v Austria preview (42m 00s) PART 5: The Odds with Paddy Power (45m 30s) PART 6: Rash conclusions 2.0 (48m 40s) SIGN UP TO THE ATHLETIC FOR £1 A MONTH FOR YOUR FIRST 6 MONTHS: • theathletic.com/totally GET IN TOUCH: • follow us on Instagram • find us on Facebook • send us a tweet: @TheTotallyShow PARISH NOTICES: • we’re sponsored by Paddy Power - home of the Money Back Special READ STUFF ON OUR WEBSITE: • check out thetotallyfootballshow.com. The buttock region

Matt Davies Adams, Tom Williams, and Daniel Storey are here as England top Group D and as Scotland bid farewell to their first tournament in 23 years. So Scotland are out but what does it mean? We ask The Athletic's Jordan Campbell who's live at Hampden for his reflections on a heartbreaking night for the Tartan Army. More positive scenes over at Wembley though, well for 12 minutes anyway, as Sterling netted again and England top the group and look at facing, erm, France/Germany/Portugal/Hungary! Speaking of which tomorrow is today and today is the last day of the group stages, and there are still two groups to sort out. Namely Group E and F where it's looking concerning for Spain and rather brighter for Germany. All that plus we hit a few bum notes. RUNNING ORDER PART 1: Heroes to Villains (01m 30s) PART 2a: Scotland 1-3 Croatia with Jordan Campbell (03m 30s) PART 2b: England 1-0 Czech Republic (12m 30s) PART 3a: Wembley capacity (24m 30s) PART 3b: Spain v Slovakia preview with Alvaro Romeo (28m 00s) PART 3c: Sweden v Poland preview (35m 30s) PART 4a: Hungary v Germany preview (39m 00s) PART 4b: France v Poland preview (42m 30s) PART 5: The Odds with Paddy Power (46m 30s) PART 6: Big bums big help (50m 00s) SIGN UP TO THE ATHLETIC FOR £1 A MONTH FOR YOUR FIRST 6 MONTHS: • theathletic.com/totally GET IN TOUCH: • follow us on Instagram • find us on Facebook • send us a tweet: @TheTotallyShow PARISH NOTICES: • we’re sponsored by Paddy Power - home of the Money Back Special READ STUFF ON OUR WEBSITE: • check out thetotallyfootballshow.com. An Aldi own brand Pep Guardiola

Matt Davies Adams, Rory Smith, and Sasha Goryunov are here as Denmark make their mark on this tournament and squeeze into the next stage whilst Austria find their fast flowing football. Copenhagen was the place to be on Monday night as Denmark scored four magnificent goals to set up their place in the round of 16. Whilst Finland gave Belgium a run for their money before Lukaku turned the fireworks on. Plus we had one of the most memorable moments of the tournament so far - and VAR was involved in a positive way! In Group C it's Ukraine who are left wondering if they're in or out, and we waved goodbye to tournament cult hero Goran Pandev with an emotional guard of honour. Up next it's England v Czech Republic and Croatia v Scotland where it's "you finish second" "no, you finish second" at Wembley and win at all costs in Hampden. And where Covid 19 is wreaking havoc with protocols as Billy Gilmour is out and it's a bit of a confusion over Mount and Chilwell for England. All that plus there's a rather special 'On This Day' for Matt - and we find out that his dog has a middle name.... RUNNING ORDER PART 1: Drama or no drama? (01m 30s) PART 2a: Denmark 4-1 Russia (05m 30s) PART 2b: Belgium 2-0 Finland (14m 00s) PART 3a: Austria 1-0 Ukraine (21m 30s) PART 3b: Netherlands 3-0 North Macedonia (24m 30s) PART 4a: England v Czech Republic preview. Suit that doubles up as sportswear

Matt Davies-Adams welcomes Duncan Alexander and Robyn Cowen into the pod as Wales progress to the knockout stages. Robert Page’s side lose 1-0 in Rome but are still safely in the last 16. Are good-looking lads Italy the new tournament favourites? Are Turkey the worst dark horses ever? Groups B and C will conclude on Monday. Ari Virtanen dares to dream of Finland upsetting Belgium and advancing to the next round. It’s a chance for the likes of Lukaku, Yarmolenko and Dumfries to boost their Golden Boot hopes. And a chance to say goodbye Goran Pandev. Plus some Arshavin on this day and what Torquay and Hartlepool did to steal the show on Sunday. RUNNING ORDER: • PART 1: Italy 1-0 Wales (02m 30s) • PART 2: Switzerland 3-1 Turkey (10m 00s) • PART 3a: Previewing the conclusion of Group C (16m 00s) • PART 3b: Previewing the conclusion of Group B (20m 00s) • PART 3c: Finland’s hopes of progressing with Ari Virtanen (28m 00s) • PART 4: The odds with Paddy Power (34m 30s) • PART 5: The non-league Alisson and the fashionista Arshavin (36m 30s) SIGN UP TO THE ATHLETIC FOR £1 A MONTH FOR YOUR FIRST 6 MONTHS: • theathletic.com/totally GET IN TOUCH: • follow us on Instagram • find us on Facebook • send us a tweet: @TheTotallyShow PARISH NOTICES: • we’re sponsored by Paddy Power - home of the Money Back Special READ STUFF ON OUR WEBSITE: • check out thetotallyfootballshow.com. Proper downer

Matt Davies-Adams is joined by Lynsey Hooper and Tom Williams after arguably the most exciting day of action yet at Euro 2020. Germany bounce back from defeat to France with a 4-1 thrashing of Portugal. Never write them off. Are the holders in danger of elimination at the group stage? Hungary cause their own upset by holding world champions France in Budapest. Should Les Bleus be concerned about the lack of goals from Karim Benzema? Speaking of a lack of goals, Spain toil to another draw, this time with Poland. Alvaro Romeo identifies the reasons behind their struggles. From the weather to fan apathy. Group A concludes on Sunday with Wales travelling to Rome to face Italy and confirm their place in the next round. Will the likes of Ramsey, Bale and Ward impress again? Plus Seaman’s laugh, Foden’s flick, and Sousa’s fashion faux-pas. RUNNING ORDER: • PART 1a: Germany 4-1 Portugal with David Novo (03m 00s) • PART 1b: Hungary 1-1 France (15m 00s) • PART 2: Spain 1-1 Poland with Alvaro Romeo (24m 00s) • PART 3: Previewing the conclusion of Group A (34m 00s) • PART 4: The odds with Paddy Power (43m 00s) • PART 5: Who will be this tournament’s Panenka? Lucky for big blokes

Matt Davies-Adams, Duncan Alexander and Daniel Storey react to one of the most anticipated days of Euro 2020 so far. Scotland take a point from Wembley as Steve Clarke’s bold selection pays off. Has Gareth Southgate been spooked by the anonymous Harry Kane? And is there much point in lionising Grealish when England function best as a team? Group F on Saturday offers mouth-watering clashes between Hungary and France and Portugal up against Germany. Raphael Honigstein gives us his thoughts on what Jogi Low’s tactical approach should be against the holders. Spain take on Poland where it’s Morata v Lewandowski – equals when it comes to international tournaments. And not in a good way. Plus Blackburn’s Ben Brereton bags in the Copa America. And Duncan’s favourite thing about Jan Koller. RUNNING ORDER: • PART 1: England 0-0 Scotland (02m 30s) • PART 2a: Croatia 1-1 Czech Republic (14m 30s) • PART 2b: Sweden 1-0 Slovakia (18m 45s) • PART 3a: Portugal v Germany preview with Raphael Honigstein (22m 30s) • PART 3b: Hungary v France preview (32m 00s) • PART 3c: Spain v Poland preview (34m 30s) • PART 4: The odds with Paddy Power (37m 45s) • PART 5: On This Day and Big Ben Brereton (39m 30s) SIGN UP TO THE ATHLETIC FOR £1 A MONTH FOR YOUR FIRST 6 MONTHS: • theathletic.com/totally GET IN TOUCH: • follow us on Instagram • find us on Facebook • send us a tweet: @TheTotallyShow PARISH NOTICES: • we’re sponsored by Paddy Power - home of the Money Back Special READ STUFF ON OUR WEBSITE: • check out thetotallyfootballshow.com. On the show it was an emotional night in Copenhagen as Denmark played Belgium and united in celebration of Christian Eriksen after 10 minutes. Elsewhere The Netherlands secured their place in the knockout stages with a 2-0 win over Austria. We ask if the draw is in the favour? And we wave a fond farewell to North Macedonia who lost 2-1 to Ukraine. Then it's all eyes to Wembley as England and Scotland ready themselves to do battle. To get the Scottish perspective we speak with Scotland and Chelsea midfielder, Erin Cuthbert, whilst back in the pod we assess Southgate's best full back options. Plus there's previews on Croatia v Czech Republic and Sweden v Slovakia, and we ask what on earth Spurs are doing? A kick in the Zubkov

Matt Davies-Adams, Michael Cox and Sasha Goryunov are here as Wales arrive, Russia aren't Finnished, and Italy are livin la vida loca-telli. First to Baku where Wales are beaming after their 2-0 victory over Turkey, we ask if this was one of the most impressive performances so far As for Russia well they arrived too in St Petersburg and grabbed their first three points. Will a win be enough to see teams through to the knockout stages though? And Italy gain a load of backers after their dominant performance over Switzerland - but should we believe the hype? Elsewhere it's a big day for Denmark tomorrow as they play Belgium in Copenhagen. We speak with Danish commentator Niels Harild about the mood in the country. It's an Arnautovic-less Austria taking on The Netherlands - will Frank de Boer give us more of the same chaos? And finally Sasha brings a big tactics lesson on Ukraine v North Macedonia. Coke cola

Matt Davies-Adams, Adam Crafton and Tom Williams react to a certain CR7's latest records and our first heavy weight fight. Tuesday night brought us the good, the bad, and the possibly ugly as France beat Germany 1-0. We ask is this France instilling fear? Did Germany deserve a draw? And did Rudiger have a little nibble? Speaking of bites, over in Hungary our early evening entertainment, well it didn't get going until 80 minutes in but not even the clock can beat Cristiano Ronaldo from breaking records. Onto the next round then and it's all eyes on Italy who have really set a marker. Up next for them Switzerland who inspire an Orson Welles quote. On the other side of the table it's the slightly more disappointing Wales and Turkey who face off. And finally we finish with the Finnish as they take on Russia. RUNNING ORDER: • PART 1: France 1-0 Germany (02m 30s) • PART 2a: Hungary 0-3 Portugal (13m 00s) • PART 3a: Turkey v Wales preview with Yordi Yamali (21m 30s) • PART 3b: Italy v Switzerland preview with James Horncastle (32m 00s) • PART 3c: Finland v Russia preview (36m 30s) • PART 4: The odds with Paddy Power (40m 30s) • PART 5a: On This Day – France secure their place in the knockout round of Euro 2000 (42m 50s) • PART 5b: Rash Predictions (47m 00s) SIGN UP TO THE ATHLETIC FOR £1 A MONTH FOR YOUR FIRST 6 MONTHS: • theathletic.com/totally GET IN TOUCH: • follow us on Instagram • find us on Facebook • send us a tweet: @TheTotallyShow PARISH NOTICES: • we’re sponsored by Paddy Power - home of the Money Back Special READ STUFF ON OUR WEBSITE: • check out thetotallyfootballshow.com. Binary solo

Matt Davies-Adams, Duncan Alexander and Dom Fifield react to a day of record-breaking goals and record-breaking passes at Euro 2020. The Tartan Army’s return to tournament football is an unhappy one as Patrick Schick inspires Czech Republic to victory from the halfway line. Did Scotland prove they are genuinely unlucky? Or are they just not clinical enough? Sweden channel their inner Palace to stifle Spain and draw 0-0 in Seville. Alexander Isak looks the real deal, Alvaro Morata – not so much. Slovakia overcome Poland who continue to struggle for goals at major tournaments, even with Lewandowski. France face Germany on Tuesday – with the Mbappe Giroud spat stealing focus, is there a chance Les Bleus could implode? And Hungary will face Portugal in front of 60,000 fans in Budapest. Tomasz Mortimer tells us how far the national side have come in a short period of time. RUNNING ORDER: • PART 1: Scotland 0-2 Czech Republic (04m 30s) • PART 2a: Spain 0-0 Sweden (14m 00s) • PART 2b: Poland 1-2 Slovakia (20m 00s) • PART 3a: France v Germany preview (26m 30s) • PART 3b: Hungary v Portugal preview with Tomasz Mortimer (32m 00s) • PART 4: The odds with Paddy Power (42m 30s) • PART 5: On This Day – England 2-0 Scotland (44m 30s) SIGN UP TO THE ATHLETIC FOR £1 A MONTH FOR YOUR FIRST 6 MONTHS: • theathletic.com/totally GET IN TOUCH: • follow us on Instagram • find us on Facebook • send us a tweet: @TheTotallyShow PARISH NOTICES: • we’re sponsored by Paddy Power - home of the Money Back Special READ STUFF ON OUR WEBSITE: • check out thetotallyfootballshow.com. Contemplating the risky text

Matt Davies-Adams is in the hot seat in the company of Carl Anka and Daniel Storey after a dazzling Day 3 at Euro 2020. England exercise real control and relaxation in their opening game as they defeat Croatia at Wembley. A great day for Phillips and Mings as Southgate’s team selection is completely vindicated. And he can afford to not even use Grealish or Sancho. Netherlands and Ukraine contest the game of the tournament so far as the Dutch win 3-2 in Amsterdam. And an angry Arnautovic seals victory for Austria over North Macedonia. Which is more interesting than their kit or nickname. Scotland’s first tournament game in 23 years is against the Czech Republic on Monday. The most important game they’ll play in this group stage? And Spain and Sweden face off in Group E with Morata and Isak both looking to show their worth. RUNNING ORDER: • PART 1: England 1-0 Croatia (03m 30s) • PART 2a: Netherlands 3-2 Ukraine (19m 00s) • PART 2b: Austria 3-1 North Macedonia (23m 00s) • PART 3a: Scotland v Czech Republic preview with JJ Bull (29m 00s) • PART 3b: Spain v Sweden preview with Frida Fagerlund (39m 00s) • PART 3c: Poland v Slovakia preview (47m 30s) • PART 4: The odds with Paddy Power (50m 00s) • PART 5: On This Day – Pearce versus headbutts (52m 30s) SIGN UP TO THE ATHLETIC FOR £1 A MONTH FOR YOUR FIRST 6 MONTHS: • theathletic.com/totally GET IN TOUCH: • follow us on Instagram • find us on Facebook • send us a tweet: @TheTotallyShow PARISH NOTICES: • we’re sponsored by Paddy Power - home of the Money Back Special READ STUFF ON OUR WEBSITE: • check out thetotallyfootballshow.com. Traumatic and frantic

Jimbo, Daniel Storey and Tom Williams reflect on a day overshadowed by the dramatic collapse of Christian Eriksen. Denmark’s star man is thankfully in a stable condition after requiring CPR on the pitch against Finland. Away from Copenhagen, Belgium dismantle Russia and Wales are fortunate to escape with a draw against Switzerland, thanks to the efforts of Kieffer Moore and Danny Ward. But did Robert Page get his selection wrong? England v Croatia is the big game on Sunday. Juraj Vrdoliak tells us about a team in transition since the World Cup, while the FA once again clarify the meaning behind taking the knee. Plus a big day for North Macedonia and some bold predictions from De Boer. RUNNING ORDER: • PART 1: The collapse of Christian Eriksen (01m 00s) • PART 2a: Belgium 3-0 Russia (08m 30s) • PART 2b: The booing of the knee continues (12m 30s) • PART 2c: Wales 1-1 Switzerland (15m 30s) • PART 3a: England v Croatia preview with Juraj Vrdoliak (22m 00s) • PART 3b: Netherlands v Ukraine preview (32m 30s) • PART 3c: Austria v North Macedonia preview with Filip Mishov (36m 00s) SIGN UP TO THE ATHLETIC FOR £1 A MONTH FOR YOUR FIRST 6 MONTHS: • theathletic.com/totally GET IN TOUCH: • follow us on Instagram • find us on Facebook • send us a tweet: @TheTotallyShow PARISH NOTICES: • we’re sponsored by Paddy Power - home of the Money Back Special READ STUFF ON OUR WEBSITE: • check out thetotallyfootballshow.com. James Horncastle joins us after the 3-0 win on Friday as the Azzurri shatter their own stereotypes with an adventurous performance. Saturday’s a landmark day for followers of Finland, with their first ever game at a major tournament against Denmark. In Group C, we’ve got some frank opinions on De Boer and Holland and some high hopes for Malinovskyi and Ukraine. About to do a madness

Jimbo’s back with part 1 of our preview of Euro 2020, in the company of Michael Cox, Tom Williams and Sasha Goryunov. The Three Lions head into essentially a home tournament as favourites. Paul Ince tells us what life inside the camp was like at Euro 96. Are England and Croatia worse than we think they are? And are Scotland and Czech Republic better? Can Wales match their semi-final exploits of 5 years ago, with or without a striker? They’re in the same group as a young Turkey side who we’re very excited about watching. James Horncastle gives us the latest on Roberto Mancini’s Italy, unbeaten in 3 years and finally building the team around their best players. Kristof Terreur explains why Belgium’s golden generation are keen to play down their chances of a first major tournament victory. Plus how Michael incurred the wrath of the Finnish football fans. Tumbled down that escalator

It’s a weekend that reminds us why we love football, relived by Jimbo, Daniel Storey, Charlie Eccleshare and Adrian Clarke. Leicester win their first ever FA Cup. A classic cup final by dint of having one of the great cup final goals and cup final saves. How many clubs are feeling silly for turning their nose up at Brendan Rodgers? And are Chelsea in danger of being over-coached by Thomas Tuchel? It’s a horrible weekend for Chelsea as they lose the Women’s Champions League final 4-0 to Barcelona. Like Tuchel, which selections did Emma Hayes get wrong? Alisson becomes the first goalkeeper to score a winning goal in the Premier League, as we remember some of our favourite goalie goals. He keeps Liverpool’s top 4 hopes alive. And there’s the race to avoid the Conference League. Plus why can’t Ancelotti fix Everton’s home form? Will England select Grealish? And should Arsenal cash in on Willock? RUNNING ORDER: • PART 1: How does anyone not like football? (01m 00s) • PART 2: Leicester win the FA Cup, with Joe Brewin (05m 30s) • PART 3a: Alisson’s last-minute winner (27m 00s) • PART 3b: Everton 0-1 Sheffield United (38m 00s) • PART 4a: The rest of the Premier League weekend (43m 00s) • PART 4b: Chelsea 0-4 Barcelona in the WCL final, with Matt Davies-Adams (54m 00s) • PART 5: The odds with Paddy Power (58m 00s) • PART 6: Who’s winning the Championship play-offs? You can’t outrun maths

Jimbo welcomes Michael Cox, Dominic Fifield and Duncan Alexander into the pod to preview some big cup finals. Chelsea face Leicester in the FA Cup final, with both sides experiencing contrasting fortunes in midweek in the Premier League. Joe Brewin tells us how winning this competition would mean more to Foxes fans than a top 4 finish. Speaking of the Blues, Katie Whyatt helps us preview the Champions League final with the finest WSL team ever assembled, against heavy favourites Barcelona. Perhaps an exciting new dawn for the sport. We salute Man City - champions of England, a team that made esteemed opposition look like idiots. We chat Palace with Dom, who says fans should be prepared to bid farewell to Roy Hodgson and we get an overdue bigging up of Benteke. Projected onto a bedsheet

Jimbo, Jack Lang, Duncan Alexander and David Preece dissect a big old week for English football teams. Man City deliver one of their best ever away performances to turn the Champions League semi-final against PSG in their favour. We pay tribute to the non-panicking Pep. Chelsea are in a similarly strong position after a 1-1 draw in Madrid, featuring Ngolo Kante and the strongest squad left in the Champions League. Looking ahead to the Premier League weekend, we’re not promising goals between Man United and Liverpool, whereas Newcastle v Arsenal tends to deliver those. There’s Leicester’s first trip to Southampton since a well-documented visit, plus the positives of Potter’s possible move to Spurs. Jimbo welcomes Rafa Honigstein, James Horncastle, Julien Laurens and Alvaro Romeo as we look ahead to the Champions League semi-finals and some exhilarating title races. Lille come from 2-0 down to win a thriller at Lyon, a statement victory in their pursuit of the title. But how different will Les Dogues look next season? We look ahead to the Champions League and Europa League semi-finals, with most of them looking like 50-50 calls. The fall-out from the failed European Super League continues. We hear how it was an act of desperation from the Spanish and Italian clubs. Are we on the verge of some huge clubs going under? Julian Nagelsmann appears to be on his way to Bayern Munich as their new manager. Who will replace him at Leipzig? Credit is due to Koeman as Barcelona have the destiny of La Liga in their own hands. Morass of shapeless football

Jimbo is joined by Daniel Storey, Dom Fifield and Tom Williams, as the first major silverware of the season in England is dished out. And did Spurs ruin their chances of winning this final by ditching their former manager? It’s a big weekend in the race for Champions League football. How long will it take to fix Liverpool? And do they need a break from each other? Can Arsenal fans trust the process? Can Everton still make the top 4? Would West Ham settle for 6th? Wolves are blown away by bullies Burnley. Disappointing cut to the ground

Jimbo is joined by the elite line-up of Michael Cox, Charlie Eccleshare and Duncan Alexander. The European Super League appears to have collapsed as quickly as it was formed with the Big Six in England all pulling out. What killed the ESL? Should the owners have been more patient? Did England save football? Or with the new Champions League reforms, are we actually worse off than we were a week ago? The League Cup final beckons with Manchester City taking on Tottenham, managed by Ryan Mason, the antidote to Mourinho. The Premier League brings West Ham v Chelsea, Leeds v Man Utd and memories of Nigel Pearson wrestling James McArthur. Pedro Pinto gives us the UEFA perspective on the dirty dozen, and the extent to which the clubs could be punished. Agnelli’s Juventus might be missing out on Champions League qualification after defeat to Atalanta in Serie A Jose Mourinho is sacked by Tottenham after 17 months. Who next for Spurs? Nagelsmann?
