Jonny Pringle joins James for the opening Podcast on Day 4 of Correspondent Week to discuss all things Manchester City, including whether we should consider them as capable of getting back to their best. Erling Haaland is of course discussed, will Jonny start with him and take on Liverpool's Mo Salah? There's several head to heads within the City squad discussed including Eayan Ait-Nouri v Josko Gvardiol and Phil Foden v Omar Marmoush. The case is also made for consideration to the likes of Matheus Nunes, Tijani Reijnders and a hopefully, fully fit Rodri. But the opening fixtures aren't (in Jonny's words) a slam dunk, and unlikely many previous seasons, the squad has too many bodies. Meaning rotation is likely to be as big a headache as ever. On Clash of the Correspondents James is joined by Manchester City fan Jonny Pringle and Bournemouth fan Neil Grover to discuss an important week ahead for both clubs ahead of their Gameweek 37 meeting next Tuesday at The Etihad. For City there's the small matter of Saturday's FA Cup Final to contend with first, and by the time they face The Cherries they could be down to sixth as they bod to finish in the top 5. Bournemouth themselves need City to win the Cup and will then be hoping for slip ups from Brentford and Brighton as they aim for a first ever qualification for European football. What should FPL managers who own the likes of Josko Gvardiol, Kevin De Bruyne and Omar Marmoush do considering City don't play untol after the Cup Final? Should they be binned? And can those who gambled on a returning Erling Haaland have the confidence to captain him? And Bournemouth assets are likely to prove very popular too on final day when they host relegated Leicester. Discussion includes chat on Evanilson, Justin Kluivert, Milos Kerkez and Dean Huijsen, who seems bounds for Real Madrid following an outstanding season. Plus, should we expect City to go big in the market in the Summer and does the Club World Cup matter? Clayton joins James this week on the Gameweek Review Podcast to discuss all the weekend's games, which included more misfiring premiums, but there were good returns to be had elsewhere and that included a haul for Ebe Eze against a hapless and rotated Tottenham. For Tottenham and Manchester United (who were beaten by West Ham) all focus is on the Europa League Final which is why Ollie Watkins and Cole Palmer are likely to be so popular this week for Fantasy managers! Should they be under captaincy consideration? Plus, Arsenal pulled it back at Anfield where Trent Alexander-Arnold was booed, Newcastle beat 10 man Chelsea who saw Nicolas Jackson sent off, Villa, Brentford and Brighton picked up important wins, whilst Forest slipped up against Leicester and Southampton somehow held Manchester City and a returning Erling Haaland to claw themselves to 12 points. Fantasy targets for what remains covered, the pull of rolling for GW38, what will Palace and City do next week following the FA Cup Final, players to consider for those with a Free Hit left and lots more...
