Suj and James review the 9 weekend games played in GW24 and for both Arsenal's 6-0 victory against West Ham meant it was a bad FPL week as Gunners assets returned well with Gabriel benched and in James' case Bukayo Saka sold! But it was of course it was Suj's team that suffered a record home league defeat. Captaining Erling Haaland at least brought some relief, but City did struggle to break down a resolute Everton. It was a weekend with lots of goals in the Premier League and that meant some big swings for FPL managers in GW23 as Richarlison and Ollie Watkins returned big and there were also big hauls for attacking enablers such as Alejandro Garnacho and Matheus Cunha, but find defensive returns was far more difficult. All the games reviewed including Tottenham's draw at Everton, Villa's thumping win at Sheffield United, Manchester United's comfortable victory against West Ham and Arsenal won the big one, and deservedly so, against Liverpool. And despite defeat Liverpool assets appeal now that we know their fixture against Luton Town has finally been announced for DGW25. But their opponents Luton also have several excellent options and were involved in a thrilling 4-4 draw at Newcastle. There are eyes on how to manipulate the upcoming blanks and doubles, thoughts on Man City assets ahead of tonight's trip to Brentford and there are a couple of Premier League managers now under big pressure... and they meet at Selhurst Park next week! It's green arrows for Suj and James on the Gameweek 19 Review but very different fortunes for their teams on a dramatic Thursday night as Brighton scored four against Tottenham at The Amex and West Ham caused a shock by winning 2-0 at Arsenal. And they weren't the only surprises this week as Chris Wood scored a stunning hat-trick in Nottingham Forest's victory at Newcastle, while Wolves were another team to score big as they scored four at Brentford and there were some surprising bonus points for offensive FPL defenders. All the games covered, including Manchester United's comeback victory against Aston Villa and Manchester City looked back to their best at Everton with Phil Foden the star of the show. And there's lots to debate ahead of tomorrow's GW20 FPL Deadline, with several great options for captaincy and some extreme benching headaches for some may lead to an activation of a number of Bench Boost chips. But there are warnings of more potential weekend rotation and notes that although GW20 may look great on paper for many FPL managers GW21 needs to be kept in mind, particularly with so many players leaving for AFCON and the Asia Cup.
