Robbie Mustoe and Robbie Earle break down the major talking points form Matchweek 9 in the Premier League

Kelly Cates presents Friday Night Football from the King Power stadium alongside Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher, who react to Nottingham Forest’s 3-1 win against Leicester City, which sees them climb to fifth in the Premier League. Carra described Callum Hudson-Odoi’s performance as ‘outstanding’ and thinks the winger may now be showing the talent he has. Chris Wood continued his fine goalscoring form this season by netting a double against his former club and gave his reaction after the match, saying he wouldn’t be anything without his teammates. Ryan Yates was also on the scoresheet for the visitors and reflected on the win, along with Leicester’s Harry Winks, who assisted Jamie Vardy’s equaliser in the first half. There are also the views of a delighted Nuno Espirito Santo, who praised his players for their commitment, while Steve Cooper felt the Foxes ‘poor mistakes’ were self-inflicted and ultimately punished by the opposition. On the first of three Clash of the Correspondents during the International break James is joined by Nottingham Forest fan Mark Sutherns and Crystal Palace fan Ruaidhri McLoughlin-Dowd to discuss the latest at their clubs and their FPL assets ahead of the GW8 Monday night meeting at The City Ground. Forest have made an impressive start, having lost only once and remain unbeaten away from home following Sunday's draw at Chelsea, but to flip that they haven't won from home fixtures against Bournemouth, Wolves and Fulham. Are they turning now as hard to beat as Nuno Espirito Santo's use to feel? Meanwhile no one would have expected Palace to remain winless after how well they finished last season, so what's going on? There's discussion on if Oliver Glasner should consider abandoning his back three system and if Palace have recruited in the wrong areas. Plus, FPL chat includes discussion on key men Morgan Gibbs-White and Ebe Eze, the prospects for Chis Wood and which club would be better invest in defensively. On the Gameweek 5 Review Suj and James discuss all the games from the weekend and it was a particularly painful one for James following defeat in the North London Derby. Discussion on Arsenal's victory and how they overcame the absence of Declan Rice and Martin Odegaard. But it wasn't all bad news for James in FPL as Ollie Watkins matched another Erling Haaland haul and it was another successful weekend for Suj who included Gabriel in his starting eleven. Plus, for many Wildcarders there may be regret as Liverpool assets flopped in a surprise defeat to Nottingham Forest and a theme of this week's review is a hunt for decent forward options. Robbie Mustoe and Robbie Earle recap all the hot topics from Matchweek 3 in the Premier League
Aaron Lagor joins James to discuss all things Leicester City and their FPL assets ahead of their Monday night Gameweek opener against James' Tottenham. But despite being the Championship Champions they currently don't feel as strong as they did when achieving promotion. Why? Manager Enzo Maresca and key player Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall have departed for Chelsea. Former Nottingham Forest manager Steve Cooper is Maresca's replacement and there's a detailed debate on what may be different under the new manager. For FPL club legend Jamie Vardy may still lead the line, while wide men Abdul Fatawu and Stephy Mavididi are also 5.5. Should any of the trio appeal for investment? And there are enablers to consider with Wout Faes (4.0) and Harry Winks (4.5) both well owned. But you may listen to this Podcast and want to have a second look at Tottenham assets and The Foxes also look set for a points deduction. Sam Murray joins James to discuss the summer changes at Brighton with Roberto De Zerbi replaced by Fabian Hürzeler, who at 31 becomes the Premier League's youngest ever permanent manager. The Podcast includes discussion on what we can expect tactically from the new man in charge. And there's plenty of FPL discussion which includes interest in new attacker Yankubah Minteh who may thrill from the right and is attainable at 5.5, the same price as the popular Joao Pedro, but will the forward prove his fitness ahead of Gameweek 1? And the brilliant Kaoru Mitoma (6.5) is back fit, but largely being ignored. Perhaps that's because of a difficult fixture schedule which sees The Seagulls play 7 of last season's top 8 in the opening 11 gameweeks, but week 4 & 5 are very attractive with home fixtures against Ipswich and Nottingham Forest, a period that looks perfect to field 4.0 defender Valentin Barco, who if he does well is likely to make interest in any of the rest of the defensive assets at 4.5 undesirable. But maybe only from the start. Nottingham Forest fan and FPL Blackbox's Mark Sutherns joins James for the Day 2 conclusion of Correspondent Week to discuss all things Forest and their FPL assets, who are catching attention with a great opening set of fixtures. Morgan Gibbs-White is talisman, captain and set to stay. He's assessed versus the cheaper and explosive Callum Hudson-Odoi and also against the plethora of choice in the 6.6 midfield range. Whilst Chris Wood is also attracting attention as a forward who should return well at 6.0, but might there be an alternative at the same price at another club who is better choice with Taiwo Awoniyi also challenging for a place? Plus, all of the defensive assets have been priced at 4.5; Mark details who's best from the backline but there's interest in one more defender and another (yes, really) goalkeeper that means the player that might be of most interest may be yet to join the club. Plus, Nuno Espirito Santo remains despite speculation in the spring that he might not, but it may be another year of battling against relegation and there's also an update on the club's future at The City Ground. James is joined by fellow Tottenham fan Ricky Saunders to discuss all things Tottenham and begin by asking if the target for the season ahead must be qualification back into The Champions League. Rumours would suggest that the club may be about to make a push to sign Bournemouth's Dominic Solanke, would he be the right fit and how interested should FPL managers have in him if the move happens? And what would it mean for the future of Richarlison? There are three players in the midfield bracket at 6.5 and their prospects are assessed, James Maddison's form remains a concern, Heung-Min Son is a powerful differential who the majority are currently overlooking and Tottenham may have the most exciting 4.5 midfielder in Lucas Bergvall. Plus, there's coverage of the brilliant youngsters in the Tottenham squad who may break into the first team this season, the backline is likely to look familiar and both Ricky and James are in agreement on the one Tottenham player they have to have in FPL. On Clash of the Correspondents James is joined by Burnley fan Jack Toner and Nottingham Forest fan Mark Sutherns to discuss the latest at their clubs ahead of Sunday's final day meeting at Turf Moor. For Burnley, relegation was confirmed following defeat at Tottenham and it's felt like an inevitability for some time but the club has kept faith with manager Vincent Kompany and their inexperienced squad should be in a good position to challenge to come straight back... or is there reason for concern? Forest are safe, bar an unlikely 12 goal swing on final day. But it has been a bad season and their safety is only due to the inability of the three teams below. What's gone wrong? And what are the club likely to do next? Could key players depart? And will Nuno Espirito Santo be kept on? Plus, goals are expected when the two clubs meet on Sunday, so should FPL managers look at enablers such as Jacob Braun Larsen or Callum Hudson-Odoi as a source for points in Gameweek 38? On the weekend Review of Gameweek 37 Suj and James discuss all the games from the weekend which included confirmation of Burnley's relegation and Luton Town will almost certainly be joining them; while Manchester City and Arsenal both won to nil to confirm that the title race will go to the final day, but how James' Tottenham do against City tomorrow is likely to be decisive. But do Tottenham even want to win!? Bench Boosters have mainly done well, clean sheets for Arsenal and Everton have helped but there was pain for owners of Bruno Fernandes and Callum Wilson owners after their weekend no-shows. Plus, there's a focus on one week punts for Sunday's finale, and that may include interest in a Crystal Palace team who are in red hot form. They won again at Wolves, who themselves travel to Anfield on final day and Liverpool assets may well be of interest too subject to what we see at Villa Park tonight. And there's plenty more too consider from others too! A nervy Arsenal rely on their defensive steel to overcome Arsenal at Old Trafford, guaranteeing the title race will go down to the last day.
